McCains campaign has sent an incoherent message about 0bama.
It has failed to define him.
What good is talking about William Ayers or ACORN if the campaign doesnt use these associations to draw a conclusion about 0bama?
McCain needs to use not one, but rather the aggregate of 0bamas influences in life to bring him into focus. Frank Marshall Davis, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Saul Alinsky, ACORN, The Democratic Socialists of America, The New Party. What do they all have in common?
The answer: a dangerous, radical, far left ideology.
McCain must make this about ideology, and take 0bamas associations as instructive. He should highlight that Saul Alinsky taught radicals to cut their hair, put on a suit, and take down the government from the inside, and 0bama was so versed in Alinskys tactics that he taught them to ACORN activists.
McCains ACORN ad reveals that 0bama taught for ACORN, but it never reveals the substance of what he taught.
The substance is what we need to understand 0bama. The substance is what makes it tangible.
McCain needs to call 0bama a wolf in sheeps clothing. A clean-cut radical with very little papertrail infiltrating the system in order to destroy it.
Exposing 0bamas radical agenda and properly identifying it as Socialism would be enough to ensure his defeat. It is what McCain must do.
I hate to say it, but I told you so!
As usual, Rush is right!
Spot on pissant, that was El Rushbo’s best commentary in about a week, he finally is starting to point out that “moderates” mean losing, and the DC Intelligentsia are completely out of touch with Conservatism.
Kristol and Brooks got the guy they wanted, it wasn’t what they wanted...which is fairly typical.
That is also why Moderates never run campaigns...
Great! Rush is a national treasure!
But here’s the real problem. Real conservatives voting for people like Ford, the first Bush, Dole, the second Bush, ‘cause that’s all we had to vote for and that just gives the “blue bloods” more power. We should stand up and say “Nominate a RINO and we’re going somewhere else.”
McCain’s a reach across the aisle and hand them the wallets of all Conservatives kinda guy. He’s not likely to change.
A clear conservative choice was what we needed.
An “anchor on the right” were the words I used.
Jindal 2012!
It's not like Rush to bitch and moan about the past.
Enough!
We've got a Marxist to defeat!!
The following is a re-comment, in part. I’ll try it here to see what kinds of responses it gets, if any.
Why bother voting? First, the GuilianiGirls/Fredheads insulted and falsely accused me out of wanting to participate for a long time.
But after much consideration, I grudgingly decided to vote for our globalist commie sympathizers for the sake of having at least somewhat of a national defense.
Now older women in my County offices keep putting me off from doing a change of address. A couple of years ago, they denied me a mail-in ballot, supposedly due to discrepancy. There was no discrepancy. As a nearly universally despised, clean-cut, typical male who has served and is not rich, Im legally eligible to vote but not allowed to vote unless (maybe) I complain to commissioners, wait much longer at the Clerks office, squawk to the local press or whatever.
Our whole Nation is corrupt. And without a Justice Dept. being allowed to deal with local official misconduct (due to liberaltarian policies, states rights, unconditional trust in local justice system officials and the like), well...
You reap what you sow.
Time for McCain to go on another trip with Lindsey to “Brokeback Canyon” and refurbish himself for the stretch run.
The past? He was responding to Kristol’s article in the NY Times today.
It’s seeming like McCain doesn’t really wanna defeat the marxists.
Why bother voting?
Supreme Court nominees!!
But Rush dredged up the past and said “You got the race you WANTED” (past tense).
Of course he does.
We’ve been saying this all along about McCain. It’s been like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Rush IS right, but I’ll be damned if I’ll help him drag Yosemite Sam McCain an inch. I don’t support and will not vote for a liberal posing as a conservative who won’t even fight for the conservatives ready and willing to do battle on his behalf. It’s perverse.
The one inalienable truth. The Supremes.
