Breaking: CNN/Gallup/Rasmussen/Zogby Polls Now Show Race Tightening up
RASMUSSEN MONDAY: OBAMA 50%, MCCAIN 45%...
ZOGBY MONDAY: OBAMA 48%, MCCAIN 44%...
Gallup: 50% to 46% (LV)
CNN: Ohio Poll of polls: McCain, Obama in tight race
I sure wish the numbers were switched but I’m glad to see McCain’s numbers going up!
When you further adjust for the dem oversampling that remains, Mccain is probably up one or two.
Is it getting closer. As an aside does anyone know why there is no rush thread today. I tried to post one but was not able to.
Not exactly a dead heat, but at least it’s better than trailing by double digits. Incidentally, the WaPo/ABC poll out today has a likely voter poll showing Obama up by 10.
I suspect Mac Attack is actually ahead, and would like to see the internals...
testing 1 2 3
looks like the economic crisis bump is settling back down. Let’s roll, folks, and keep this dud out of the White House.

Are replys being posted yet?
4-5% differential is not exactly a ‘dead heat’.
This morning FoxNews referenced a poll of ‘likely voters’ that had Obama 7 points ahead of McCain.
From listening to the MSM this morning, you’d never know it. Even RCP lists the ABC/WP poll first on their front page even though it’s a day behind.
funny we were told this race was over were we not, what happened with that 12 point lead bambi had in Gallup, its suddenly only 4 and thats with at least a 7 point dem oversample.
McCain is in hell of a good state if thats the case.
Given the results across multiple polls, I would not say that it is a dead heat. I would say that McCain has made significant gains, however. Sample populations will be important. Does anyone have the internals?
Something must have happened early this morning. People were unable to post.
Sorry, Double post, something was up with the forums this morning
Mods pls delete one of the threads
Thanks for the bucket of cold water on this, your 12th day as a "FReeper".
I prefer to call it a bucket of realism. I’m trying to win, and I’m not taking a cavalier attitude to the public polling.
Uh huh.
I just looked at todays WAPO/ABC which has Obama up 10, well i wonder why could it be
the sample
RV : Dem 38 Repub 28 Indies 29
LV : Dem 39 Repub 30 Indies 27
So according to them, they oversampled Dems by 9 and 10% and there are approximately the same amount of repubs as their are indies. What Rubbish.
Bullmanure, the poll is really even. Question 901
