Sorry... who the heck are you and the group that is organizing these rallies? You recently joined FR in August of this year, so anything like this coming from a Newbie is suspect...

McCain is finishing this campaign with his hatred of the Republican base intensified, and a burning, white-hot hatred for Sarah Palin, who is certainly now the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2012, whether McCain is elected or not. (I think that, if elected V.P., she ought to resign by mid-2009.)

If McCain succeeds in being defeated, I think we are in for four years much more dangerous than the four years of Carter. Hyperinflation goes without saying. Russia, China, and Jihad; Ayers-ACORN’s tool in the White House, with billions in federal funding for ACORN et al., with continued focus on destroying the states’ capacity to conduct elections; the IRS will use and abuse its new undercover powers in the bailout bill; tax code will explode in size, becoming ever more incomprehensible, the more easily to entrap virtually any citizen; every conservative think tank, magazine, etc., audited and audited again, and probably more than a few prosecuted; talk radio shut down; internet neutrality enforced; government will encourage left-wing hackers—ACORN will get into hacking in a big way, joined by the Red Chinese, Red Russians, Jihad, etc. The War on Terror will continue as a Potemkin operation, but Obama will use nukes on the Arab world, or on the mainland U.S., if necessary, to quash a REAL Islamic threat to the new American revolution. Paranoia will increase.

Geez, sorry. Thought I had the link to who:
http://www.ourcountrydeservesbetter.com/index.html

You guys have got to be the DailyKos of internet friendly over here.

My name is Paul Zannucci. I run http://theamericansentinel.com and work on and off with various projects for Newt Gingrich's organization American Solutions.

I'm not Internet board savvy, and every time I try to put something over here I get nothing but flack. I am not a part of any of the organizations involved in this protest, although I am working with them to bring other PACs in so that the crowds will be greater. I have been communicating with different organizations all day, so forgive me if I'm a little tired. The important thing to me is who wins this election, not how long you've been in the Free Republic in-crowd. Help keep Obama out of the White House or just sit around on message boards and be obnoxious to "newbies". It's your choice.

500 turned out to protest Gov Palin in Philadelphia yesterday, complete with middle-finger salutes and epithets too vile to print on a family website - apparently the City of Bortherly Love is only for those who think in lock-step with the prevailing ‘rat orthodoxy (but it would be nice if Obama told his followers to chill a bit)..........

Tell me about it. Nothing but clowns on the left. It might be on this site or maybe somewhere else, but someone posted a YouTube video of a McCain support march through New York. It was atrocious. Nothing but screaming and dirty gestures.

What planet did you beam down from?

Who hates Palin, except for barking moonbats?

Cheers!

By the way, the news conferences will be specifically on getting out all those nasty little issues surrounding Obama that the media keeps ignoring. If we can get enough people to the protests, we can make sure the media has to pay attention to what is said.

Again, not familiar with the Free Republic lingo. What does “The continuing attack of the vanities” mean?

I posted an anonymous post and was asked for credentials. I have nothing to do with these protests, as I stated clearly, except that I am trying to bring the various PACs together and to advertise their efforts.

Believe it or not, but not everyone wishes to make it all about themselves.

I'm sorry. I really am too newbie here, but am trying to figure things out, like what “ping” means. I think I just responded incorrectly and to the wrong person.

As for bean counter, I hardly think that posting an FYI regarding protests run by two PACs and trying to spread the word is the same thing as posting a letter I wrote to John McCain as in the example you provided.

However, as long as I am permitted by Free Republic to post, I'll post what I think is appropriate and what I think would be helpful to spreading the word.

I'm not a message board guy. I don't post things for vanity purposes, or I wouldn't have created a stupid screen name to post under. I really don't care what people think of “Jeliota” and, in that regards, won't be responding to any more opinions of “Jeliota” but will go back to talking politics.

Thanks for being the “Vanity Squad” though.
