Thanks for the picture! I think there are many people thinking the same way.

Unfortunately, most Americans aren’t paying attention until almost the last minute.

Why waste the ammo?

God, please save our Republic!

In our area, no signs means they are for McCain/Palin. There are only three Obama signs in the whole neighborhood. If you put up a McCain/Palin sign it is sure to not be there long. For us it is no signs and no bumper stickers!

Finally some good news. I believe that $160 million is enough for us to close the gap in most battleground states like Ohio, Florida, and Missouri while it comes down to few crucial states like Virginia and Colorado.

They WANT you to give up. That's the MSM. There's no conspiracy here, IMO, just a common spirit of leftism: a spirit that hates good and loves evil, and hates America. You know, birds of a feather.

If you and others give up, they have achieved their end.

What if this is ALSO by plan...suddenly...over the last few weeks...yard signs pop up overnight like toadstools...”McCain/Palin surging!

it’s possible...

I believe much of Obama's supposed lead in the polls is due to the artificial spending advantage he has chosen to implement while our side has chosen to hold funds in reserve. $160 million in the final 2-3 weeks is the kind of saturation coverage that will quickly take its toll on Obama and give McCain the surge he needs to cross the finish line first.

Yes, the GOP usually waits until the last two weeks before spending the bulk of its money.

A wise decision since most people aren't really thinking about the election until then.

Do you think anyone other than a rapid Obama supporter is going to listen 30 minutes to his empty rhetoric?

Absolutely not! By the time he starts his rhetoric after ACORN has more legs...it will look like an act of desperation. Now, if McCain would do a 15 minute segment OR Hannity of Obama and his corruption...this might make some impact and help....could lead up to it but stating NEW evidence of corruption will be broadcast....

Polls moving McCain, 200 + Million coming. Obama will not survive the onslaught of money.

Yes, McCain has done a good job in keeping it close and now as it moves toward Nov. he is a good position to make his move.

People forget that Carter had a 20 pt lead on Ford and Ford closed the gap greatly at the end.

Clinton had a 16pt lead over Dole and only won by 8.

Democrats need to have a double digit lead going into Nov. if they hope to win the WH.

The Democrats do their big spending early hoping to get that big lead and hold it.

A 3pt lead (with an oversampling of Democrats) is not the lead that will hold up as we move into Nov.

Exactly!

The more people see of this guy, the less they like of him.

Where is the 'Obama mania' that was going on early in the primary campaign?

I see no evidence that there is any great enthusiasm to get this guy into the WH.

Amazing how many on this forum are willing to ignore historical trends and use propaganda “polls” as their evidence. I guess some people are just negative and defeatist by nature.

Yes, and these same people will invoke the name of Reagan, who was an optimist.

How quickly they forget that the Democrats were happy when he was nominated.

The polls didn't break towards Reagan until the last week of the election.
