You may find it “oddly comforting” that today’s pirates are mostly Islamic fundamentalists raising money.

Hmmm, I don’t think you are displaying a complete grasp of the situation.

Hope the Brits show more cajones than they did when the Iranians took a few of them hostage a little while ago.

That may be true. Then, for example, if there really is a push toward one-world government, the NWO, or whatever you want to call it, all of our differences manifest in race, religion, and creed are good things.

No, Islamic extremism is not a good thing. Killing in the name of religion is never good. But anything that delays or hinders globalism, could in at least some context, be considered a good thing. We are not all automatons yet. Looking at the bigger picture, IMO, that is oddly comforting...

The very fact that any band of thugs like these can be allowed to exist in our world today speaks volumes about a planet full of multicultural worshiping pansies.

These "pirates" need a dose of the Royal Navy of old.

I would like to see a more robust, engaged France...one commando raid doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thanks! Visited link and saw some interesting "trawlers."

I have a feeling they have crew served weapons on these vessels, or they would not still be sailing unholed!

And who wants to use a ship to ship missile on one, that costs millions of dollars?

What we need is accurate over the horizon cannon fire!

Or a pair of A-10s staging out of Ethiopia.

Something is fishy here! Why are these pirates still operational.

They must have some strategic use?

I thought they were warned to leave the pirates alone because of possible human rights concerns.

At the rate Britain is going... all their navy ships will have to point to Mecca 5 times a day...
