John McCain: If your campaign does not stop equating Sen. Barack Obama with terrorism, questioning his patriotism and portraying Mr. Obama as "not one of us," I accuse you of deliberately feeding the most unhinged elements of our society the red meat of hate, and therefore of potentially instigating violence.
At a Sarah Palin rally, someone called out, "Kill him!" At one of your rallies, someone called out, "Terrorist!" Neither was answered or denounced by you or your running mate, as the crowd laughed and cheered. At your campaign event Wednesday in Bethlehem, Pa., the crowd was seething with hatred for the Democratic nominee - an attitude encouraged in speeches there by you, your running mate, your wife and the local Republican chairman.
Shame!
John McCain: In 2000, as a lifelong Republican, I worked to get you elected instead of George W. Bush. In return, you wrote an endorsement of one of my books about military service. You seemed to be a man who put principle ahead of mere political gain.

One thing people need to remember. A politician is best known by the people he surrounds himself with. Now......compare Obama with McCain. I think the answer is obvious and the people are seeing it.
Is this Francis and Edith Schaeffer’s son? What a piece of work he turn out to be.
I notice that none of these articles even attempt to explain Obama’s KNOWN relationships with terrorists like Ayers and Odinga. They have no answer other than to call anyone who even dares to bring it up racist. Then they have to nerve to say that WE are fomenting hatred?!?!
Civil War, Act II here we come.
Mr. Schaeffer,
With all due respect, I suggest you go to www.democraticunderground.com and see how some of your fellow democrats are talking about any Republican, not just the candidates. Then think about motes and beams.
sincerely,

So it is getting nasty! Good! Those demonrats can throw out their trash all day long and they expect nobody to get upset. We are MAD—they better know it. The demonrat party helped to create this environment of economic chaos trying to establish the foothold for socialism. So now they want us to quiet down? No way—our voice of opposition is getting louder and they know it is drawing attention. That attention is pointing out the truth and they are squirming under the scrutiny.
It’s no different than what they have been shouting about Bush......for eight years!!!No one cared then...so screw you!
The right stands up for itself, finally, and it’s called hatred. The left demonstrates, protests, etc. and it’s called what?
Gee, where was he during the Republican convention.
We do need to rise up. We have been quite for too long.
Evil things happen when good men do nothing!
They have taken our country and have led it down the road of socialism. They are destroying our kids, our churches, our patriotism and our country.
Rush is right, when is it our turn to riot? When do we stand up for our rights, the rights given to us by our constitution. When!!!!!!
Ok, now what?
UNLESS these losers are bent out of shape to the point of psychosis, you are doing something wrong.
I’m pretty sure it is. The younger Schaeffer denounced his father and his conservative beliefs some time back. What a waste.
OMG- The comments are scary and stunning. WHAT THE HELL is happening in this country? The left is freaking, certifiably, over-the-top crazy.
They’re not just against McCain, they’re painting him as the evil one. Holy crap, this is just scary.
I think McCain will win and I think there may be blood.
The only “solution” I can see for the left is to keep them out of power to the point that they go over the edge and resort to violence -
then they can be dealt with accordingly.
Let them get into power, though, and they’ll COME AFTER YOU for attempting to live your life outside their control.
Soon we’ll probably hear the Weathermen have been reactivated.
And now they can't stand factual revelations about OBAMA?
Take your own medicine you fascist pigs!
