I think that this is excellent news.

More and more Americans are starting to finally realize how much of a criminal, communist, racist and thug Barack Hussein Obama is.

I can only hope and pray that things shift toward John and Sarah, and the future of our Republic.

We are going to win. I feel it. I know what the polls say. but the feeling in the air is different.

Also, McCain introduced a new idea: to erase the requirements in IRA, 401k for seasoned citizens to be forced to withdraw their money. Excellent idea!!

Simple and effective -- it would allow people with other forms of savings to ride out the market turmoil...

thanks for the post! Hope he keeps up this spark. I think he will and LOVE the enthusiasm!!!! McCain/Palin will win. It’s going to happen. It’s almost as if the Economy problem has been such a downer so long that American voters are becoming desensitized to it and where Obama should be much more ahead becasue of Bush presidency through this crisis...it seems voters are holding out. I really think they will fall toward McCain in the end...it will happen. I cannot imagine America truly voting for a radical, muslim Obama....not gonna happen. Dems will just not vote than put in a vote for him....AND Republicans need to come out in force...big time.

That stuck out with me, too. That should happen now.

McCain needs to buy TV time to address the nation, several spots of a minute or more during the next couple of weeks. Use the live rallies for raw meat against Obama. Use the TV spots for solutions, to look presidential and, believe it or not, pep talks about how the country has weathered financial storms before and survived. But make sure to say that socialist solutions have never worked and that’s what my opponent is proposing.

That’s a good idea (401k). McCain needs 4-5 economic ideas e.g. drop cap gain tax, flat tax...etc. People respond...they will be issues to work through on them but voters want to grab on to a lifeline out and not socialism.

Hey McCain: Eliminate all capital gains taxes until further notice and watch the markets spring to life.

No one will hear this. The media doesn't cover him. The only way to get this out there is for him to nail Obama and the Dems in the debates...and he's already failed to do it...twice.

One debate left, John...one left...

This old man knows politics and he is timing his ads and speeches to make a surge at just the right time.

I was at the Waukesha townhall event yesterday. That crowd was ready to get the torches and pitchforks out and go to Washington and throw out the bums who caused the financial mess by making terrible policies. Everytime the subject came up, people went nuts!

Sarah Palin told us the only way around the MSM bias is for us to get out there and talk to people. She also told us to keep asking questions of our politicians until they answer us. She was awsome.

I hope you’re right...and BTW, I’ve been impressed with some of the Wisconsin folks urging McCain to take the fight to Obama. There is palpable anger across this country at the Democrats, and if McCain can articulate it and tap into it, he will win.

But here’s the real bottom line—and no slam against the good people of Wisconsin or Minnesota. Does McCain legitimately have a chance in your states? The pollsters say no, but I don’t believe their data reflects what I saw in those Wisconsin campaign appearances.

Herein lies the opportunity to do well by the electorate:

1. Suspend the required distribution at 72 to keep people from having to take their losses in this market.
2. Suspend capital gains tax indefinitely.

These are winning opportunities and a chance to really readjust the markets to reality. No one should be taxed on their capital gains. Ever. And forcing retirees to take losses in this market is not equitable (pun intended).

Go for it John!
