MOSCOW (AP) The financial crisis has irreparably damaged the image of the U.S. as the leader of the free world and the global economy, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
Putin's remarks during a Communist Party meeting were the latest Russian attack singling out the U.S. as the chief culprit in the global financial turmoil.
"Trust in the United States as the leader of the free world and the free economy, and confidence in Wall Street as the center of that trust, has been damaged, I believe, forever," Putin said. "There will be no return to the previous situation."

No doubt, eh? I really, really hate being right. At least they are pushing the pretense anymore, it’s not like we couldn’t see it.
*are should have been are not.

LOTS of things have NOT made
patriotic sense for at least 50 years . . .
at least since 1900 per the quotes of our political, literary and media leaders reff’d in my tagline.
Well, I’m praying that’s all we can really do besides what we’re all already doing, and trying to get the word out.
I’ve also been remember that great quote - “We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.” ;) Ultimately there are way more of us than there are of those who wish to destroy our country.
Yep, that’s in the back of my mind as well...
GOD IS GOD AND ALWAYS WILL BE GOD.
THAT MAKES
ALL
THE DIFFERENCE.
He’s full of it. 55 trillion in trading affected by one. Try again Vladimir.
That’s right because you, Lilliputin, never do anything like lie or bully other countries.
