I remember when some university used some software to discover that Joe Klein wrote a book about the Clintons but I don’t remember which book it was. I bet they could easily figure out who wrote Obama’s books.

Then, five years later, this untested 33 year-old produced what Time Magazine has called -- with a straight face -- "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician."

Marxist get a lot of practice telling lies so this should come as no surprise.

Another point on this statement; most historians would place U. S. Grant’s war memoir of the civil war as "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician."

Ayers and his wife, Weatherwoman Bernardine Dohrn, helped blaze Obama's path to political power with a fundraiser in their Chicago home.

Aren't they all Weathermen?

Good work Jack! I hope he reads this FR thread.

I would add that Obama has Audio Books of both his books. One could do an aural analysis of the spoken text and the speaking habits of Ayers. I noted here on FR months ago certain speech similarities between Obama and Ayers with regard to hypnotic technique that I had witnessed Ayers apply in about 1968.

Wow! Totally aside from your point, you’ve just done what none of my teachers ever could, you’ve made english interesting. Too bad it’s so late in the game.

Back to the point, now we have not only the question of whether BO even meets the citizenship requirements, but who he really is. It’s like a story that is not quite able to suspend disbelief.

I don't even think Obama wrote the poem about the cavern dwelling fig eating fanged apes. It looks too much like computer generated poetry. I know, because years ago my brother typed a long poetry generator program into a TRS-80 computer. It had long lists of categorized words and the program would choose a particular set of words and generate a poem. Obama's poem reminds me of the computer generated stuff. Certainly, he's the type of person to do such a thing.

from a program called A.D.A.M.

Under water grottos, caverns

Filled with apes

That eat figs.

Stepping on the figs

That the apes

Eat, they crunch.

The apes howl, bare

Their fangs, dance . . .

Ever the wordsmith.....Barama gets "figgy" with it.

"This fascinating book describes how an English professor became a detective, sort of. Don Foster still teaches literature at Vassar College, but he's recognized as an expert in attributional theory--the idea that everybody has literary fingerprints, or, as he puts it, "no two individuals write exactly the same way, using the same words in the same combinations, or with the same patterns of spelling and punctuation." Foster is now an expert at identifying anonymous authors."

Best article of the day. I hope there is continued interest in getting to the bottom of this.

Has anyone asked Obama about writing the book and what was his response?

Even if Ayers did not have a hand in Obama’s book, it puts Obama on the spot. Was Obama that well versed with Ayers’ books that he borrowed the same phrases? Or did he pal around so much with Ayers that Ayers’ phraseology rubbed off on him.

And if indeed, Ayers was actually the ghostwriter of the book, then that reveals one (or both) of two things: Ayers and Obama spent a LOT of time together (you can’t ghostwrite a book without extensive interviews) and Obama did not credit Ayers with it because he knew Ayers’ past (which he has denied) and felt that acknowledgement of Ayers’ involvement in the book would discredit The One.
