It could be that the polls are telling them that Ayers is not selling well. I still think they should keep kitting hard and often on barak’s lack of experience. It doesn’t fire up our side, but it sure does make the O lose his temper. He can’t stand to be criticized on anything personal. John’s line in the first debates got to him. “Sen. Obama just doesn’t get it”, and insinuating that obama was still wet behind the ears. Hey, that would be a good line for John and Sarah to use. Make reference to his youth, inexperience and his ears at the same time. LOL
I have seen the very exact thing here in my very liberal neighborhood. Only 3 of the 10 have Obama signs (3 too many).

Last night wasn’t the time for it. But Obama was obviously expecting it, and that was why he was so nervous and angry. McCain threw him off his stride.

I dont think it is that Ayers was not working. I think it was more a question of timing. With McCain and Sarah on the same stage. Bringing up Ayers so soon after the debate might look a little desperate.
The genie is already out of the bottle. McCain had a good night last night. It was time to build on our momentum. Bringing up Ayers would make it seem like the debate never happened.
I dunno. I just had a violent argument with my (white) union-member son, who called me specifically to tell me that he and all the "guys" are voting for Obama, because he understands them.
Except that during last night’s debate Obama said: “John claims I’m green behind the ears”

Same down here in SE NM where oil is king. Lots of local Dem candidate signs. I even see big signs for the Rep senate candidate together with the Dem congressional candidate (both are local from here). Also, McCain-Palin signs all over the place, no Obama signs to be seen.
They cut the feed as soon as McCain was starting to throw some digs at Obama. I got pi$$ed and turned the channel.
The girls are due in December.

That’s great BUT...can’t you go vote in person??? I repeatedly read and hear that voter fraud takes place via “missing” mail-in ballots as well as by groups like ACORN. Unless you know you will absolutely be unable to vote in person, I’d recommend you get to the polls yourself on 11/4.

I have a theory. I think the MSM and cable channels may be starting to wonder what a Obama presidency will be like? i.e. a depression.
Companies do not buy advertising on cable channels during depressions. Business is bad when you have depressions and Obama/ACORN/Fannie/Freddie/Wipe Out Wall Street is bad for business.
Maybe the MSM is realizing Obama will be very bad for their business.

Biden is nuts, Obama is a radical who Americans are VERY afraid off and McCain is the old warrior who is too nice to Dems.
The people even more afraid of Obama are white Democrat Hillary voters. Their version of the Dem Party is HISTORY if Obama wins.
Agree. Talking about Ayers/ACORN etc. IS working!! But there’s still 2.5 weeks AFTER the last debate next week to hit that message hard every day until the election.
Obama IS expecting McCain to run with it at debates — yes, thow the Zero off his game — let him wait — LATE October surprise — I suspect even more than we already know will come to the forefront within a week or so of the election.
I do think, though, that Sarah should be in the audience, front and center, at the last debate. That would be terrific and would energize McCain.
