Such things are easy to check these days, Dick, and tripping on the small pebbles calls into doubt your sure-footedness on the boulders.
It’s a pity you or I were not debating Obama tonight, but we weren’t. You are absolutely correct, Obama’s “tax cut” is welfare and income redistribution, period. McCain should have nailed him hard on that and referred to as wasteful spending and against hard working Americans who pay taxes.
Also, you may have noticed when Obama came off with the “McCain wants to give to the wealthiest, blah, blah, blah, blah”?
Again, an opportunity to nail Obama to the floor. No matter the income level, these people earned this money and no one is giving them a damn thing. How can you give one their own money? McCain might have then asked Obama if a poor man had ever given him a job.
The amount of money floating around the underground from various foundations is staggering.
Think of what could have been done for the schools in Chicago and then think of how that money was actually used to benefit of those exploiting those citizens
He didn’t mean domestic terrorists. And actually he wouldn’t even attack islamic terrorists. They are his friends.
Three degrees to Bernadine Dohrn. ;-)
Up until 1-2 days ago, nobody had connected the dots.
Cliche: “too little too late”. The only time it’s too late is Novemeber 5th.
What do you expect from the electorate? People’s
thinking is fluid not rigid. We are a month out and that is a long time.
The only cnadidate with major gaffes is Obama. McCain
does not have the baggage that Obama has.
And how did Ayers know Obama to do all this in 1988?
I'll tell you..
Because in 1982/83 when Obama was at Columbia, Bill Ayers was just 371 yards away down Broadway studying at Bank Street College of Education. They were co-located in New York for four years. They may even have lived together. We don't know because Obama won't reveal a single detail of his time in New York.
We do know they had mutual acquaintances, Edward Said being one.
Go to some coffee shop frequented by leftist college students. They don’t care one iota about Obama’s past just the same as they didn’t care about the Clinton scandals a few years before. They are socialists & believe anything is ok so long as socialism goes forward.
I understand what you are saying, because this does give ammunition to those who not only know and understand, but do not care about this stuff.
However, it can also be easily pointed out to those who object to this mishandling of information that in this case, it is the equivalent of attacking the spelling or grammar of someone who makes a point.
Just because someone may mangle his birthdate or misspell Hitler’s name does not change who he was and what he did. (I think I avoided having Godwin’s law invoked by stating it in this context...:)
And so it is with Barack Obama.
We need to be bulldogs on this. Obama is chumming around with some creepy and sleazy friends. It matters.
Now to crawl inside an Obama supporter’s head:
I’m one of those rare people who can admit I’m wrong at the drop of a hat. Most people aren’t that way. They feel too insecure. [I get in insecure moods sometimes too, but it makes me feel ashamed.]
They will not admit that ‘their guy’ is wrong, but you can often see their self-doubt in their eyes. Once self-doubt is opened, he/she will need time to mull it over. Then the doubter seeks a support group. If the doubter catches one lie from his/her side — snap, mind changed.
Who is “ALL” and does he/she really need to be spammed with links and graphics a hundred times a day?
I frequently post to ‘whoever’. One day, I was surprised to get a response from a poster named ‘whoever’. The guy didn’t much like what I had to say. But, I thought, he was the one who chose that screen name [not wise]. So I didn’t much care. I kept posting to ‘whoever’ whenever I darn well felt like it.
A week later, ‘whoever’ told me that he put me on his ‘ignore list’. I still post to ‘whoever’ all the time though.
Tanker, the link set changes 3 or times a day.
It’s not spam.
A good day to you sir.
