While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
“once again, John is absolutely right”
I know it
I just learned the government invented computers.
My drinking game was going to be to take a shot every time McCain said ‘reformer’, ‘reach across the aisle’, and ‘hands across the table’ ... I had to quit after the first half hour ...
LOL
Obama is flustered - that much is obvious. Most of his talking is ignoring the current question and attempting to respond to McCain’s earlier points.
So far, he seems worse than Kerry, but McCain’s not as good with the people as Bush was.
"Look"
I’m not so sure.
They may have found some to balance the crowd.
The black folks I know CAN’T STAND Obama and resent it when folks assume they’re voting for him.
Obama just lied.
McCain did not vote against alternative energy 23 times.
He voted against some of the loco legislation; there’s a big difference.
what time does the debate end? I’m waiting for the jab, jab, jab, attack, attack, attack.
Get off the energy thing - that was last week.
This one is no exception.
McCain kicked ass on the taxes -- Herbert Hoover was the last president to raise taxes and go protectionist in an economic slowdown. (Disarming the Dem's favorite rhetorical weapon).
Kicked ass on the cheapo environmental question by saying "use nukes, I rode on Navy ships powered by nukes, they're safe. Obama doesn't want to do that."
Continuing now...
Cheers!
Here comes to the questions from the Lib plants (chosen by Gallup) in the audience.....
I just have no energy to watch anymore.
Our fellow Americans are out and out moronic idiots....and my party is unable, unwilling, and apparently un-American anymore too.
It's pathetic.
One of my Senators is Tom Coburn....and he's been SILENT!!!
NOTHING, coming out of his mouth. NOTHING!!!!!
I am pissed off....and I'm not going to take this anymore.
Heck I admire Coburn....but if these bastards can't get vocal..and in the MEDIA's face....what am I to expect down the road?
I’m not buying it.
He’s acting like He’s not only for drilling for new oil, but also like it was his idea in the first place.
Let’s get to EDUCATION.....
and BAM BAM’s “EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS” with hundreds of millions of dollars he allocated for “EDUCATION” with his buddy AYERS.......
;-)
What shop? In Nashville?
A friend of mine got a call last week from Gallup, asking who she supported. “McCain” Is there anyway you would change your vote? “No” And that was the end of the call. She now regrets not fudging and getting to be in this debate but, of course, she didn’t know the call was about THIS.
I told her she’s better off not appearing in that gallery of undecided idiots.
They are equally nervous it seems.
How many half agreements has O stated.
Mc’s been there how long? How long has Biden (his choice for change) been there?
Obama, how many jobs and exports does the US produce?
