Reverend Peter Mullen posted on his blog that homosexuals should be tattooed with the slogan: "Sodomy can seriously damage your health."
The Chaplain to the London Stock Exchange and rector in the City of London also called for gay pride parades and carnivals to be banned.
The 66 year old insisted it had all been a joke, but had to remove the comments from his blog - and has since issued a "full and complete apology".
He said his remarks were "injudicious" and had caused offence.
The Diocese of London said the blog is in no way reflective of their views and that while clergy are entitled to personal views, "we recognise that the content of this text is highly offensive".
The remarks were also condemned by gay rights campaign group Stonewall.
Gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell said Reverend Mullen ought to be a spiritual guide to everyone and that if he was mocking black or Jewish people he would be instantly removed from his duties.

It’s an undeniable fact, Sodomy CAN seriously damage your health.
The lining of the anus is only one eighth the thickness of that of the vagina.
It can easily be torn or ruptured during anal sex.
It is then possible for the person with the damaged lining to self infect their body from their own fecal matter.

In short, it is a dangerous and deadly practice regardless of orientation.
Your intentions may be well-directed but your anatomic terms are wrong. The lining of both the anus and the vagina are the same type of tissue, stratified squamous epithelium and have roughly the same thickness. What you meant to say was that the lining of the rectum is much thinner and more fragile than the lining of the vagina. It is columnar epithelium. See anatomic drawing below:

Some of you guys know way too much about butts.
Yesterday one of the docs in the outpatient clinics pulled two dildos out of some mans rear-end. The man had one more lodged in there but said he would extract it himself. I don’t know if the guys gay or just sick in the head but he is putting himself in danger by inserting items into his rectum.

These freak parades cost money , they have to have police lining the route.
Now I know this for a fact, in England the police need to be on the streets getting criminals not lining a route for a bunch of puffs acting all freakish.
Now the homo issue
Is is wrong , it is unnatural and it is unhealthy.
The people who do this should seek mental help and I heard that research was done in Scandinavia where they found they can cure homosexuality.
What they do is put into a man more testrone and estrogen for women.
Having done these studies they found that homo men had less than normal tester one etc etc
Can’t remember all the facts on this but I do remember that the homo groups said what a waste of years of research and said it was all wrong
