Expect this to be a daily event in the event of a BO win.

In a half hour video message, California-native Adam Gadahn urged Pakistanis to unite against their government and U.S. forces, and taunted Americans over their economic crisis, relating it to their military interventions.
“The enemies of Islam are facing a crushing defeat, which is beginning to manifest itself in the expanding crisis their economy is experiencing,” said Gadahn, in a clip of the message distributed by the SITE Intelligence Group,

Terror threat in UK ‘approaching critical’
The terrorist threat in Britain is approaching critical as police and MI5 face an increase in activity by al-Qaeda militants, senior security officials have disclosed.

Snippet:
The threat level is at the “severe end of severe” according to sources who say the level of “chatter” among terrorist cells has increased in recent months.
The security services say they are now operating at full stretch to counter the elevated threat.
Britain’s close relationship with the US has been particularly inflammatory after cross-border raids into Pakistan by American forces.

Richard Clarke: Al Qaeda Might Try To Swing Election To McCain
By Greg Sargent - October 6, 2008, 4:42PM
Counter-terrorism expert Richard Clarke dares to broach publicly the scenario that most will only discuss in private: The possibility of a terror attack, or the release of another Bin Laden tape, right on the eve of the election:
~~
U.S. intelligence and security officials are worried. They admit that there is nothing concrete that suggests another attack, but they fear that al Qaeda may try something, maybe even in the United States...
At the very least, expect another Halloween video from the scary man in the cave...
Even more likely is the possibility that al Qaeda would hope the attack would benefit John McCain.
Opinion polls, which, as noted above, al Qaeda reads closely, suggest that an attack would help McCain. Polls in Europe and the Middle East also suggest an overwhelming popular support there for Barack Obama. Al Qaeda would not like it if there were a popular American president again.
(end of Clarke’s take)
~~
When dealing with this topic, it’s always worth recalling that CIA analysts reportedly did conclude that Bin Laden had released the tape in order to help Bush stay in power, partly because his presidency made such a handy recruiting tool.
John Kerry has said that the Bin Laden tape released days before Election Day 2004 helped tip the election to Bush. But Kerry and his aides were caught off guard, and even alarmed, by the surfacing of the tape. One imagines — indeed, one has no doubt — that the Obama team is already thinking this through right now.

Bloomberg TV
just had a ticker that 2 bombs were set off just outside the green zone in baghdad while US Deputy Secretary of State visits.
This is much bigger than Ayers.
I read on a thread here earlier that there is a computer that picks up internet chatter and predicts trends for the future using the information it gathers. Its called bot something. It predicted something on a larger scale than 9/11 was going to happen on October 7th, 2008.

“This seen by the left can also be an attempt to shore up votes for McCain through fear tactics.”
That would make the left happy, but the more they talk about it, the more the swing voters will think.
“If it does happen (goodness forbid), theyll say McCain, Palin, Bush, Cheney, and Rove planned it.”
Maybe Ayers could be their spokes-nut.

Ah! I never quite looked at it that way:
“Even more likely is the possibility that al Qaeda would hope the attack would benefit John McCain. Opinion polls, which, as noted above, al Qaeda reads closely, suggest that an attack would help McCain. Polls in Europe and the Middle East also suggest an overwhelming popular support there for Barack Obama. Al Qaeda would not like it if there were a popular American president again.”
So they think that the Obamessiah would steal bin Laden’s thunder?
Maybe Ayers and bin Laden could meet somewhere and swap notes.
I would have thought the same way. But since the terrorists love Obama, how does that make bin Laden feel? Fewer autographs. His painting on the cave wall replaced by Obamamessiah ....
