I read on a thread here earlier that there is a computer that picks up internet chatter and predicts trends for the future using the information it gathers. Its called bot something. It predicted something on a larger scale than 9/11 was going to happen on October 7th, 2008.

There is some information on that at the
Urban Survival website. Some interesting stuff...I have been following it for a while. The webbot project link is what explains the theory behind it. They have been predicting an economic meltdown for October since the beginning of the year and also some kind of major event on October 7. Not sure I believe everything, but they have been right enough to make it interesting.
