Why angry feminists can't stand Palin

Why angry feminists can't stand Palin

With winds of change rivaling Hurricane Ike, John McCain's historic VP pick of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has blown away the left's mask of "inclusive tolerance," exposing an ugly and desperate countenance below. Flummoxed and frantic, their shameful attacks on Palin and her family have revealed that liberal Democrats, the mainstream media, and those malicious hacks in the "progressive" blogosphere are willing to navigate the deepest, darkest sludge of slash-and-burn politics to see their man, Barack Obama, elected president.

But Palin may have gotten the last laugh Thursday night by delivering a sound victory over Joe Biden in the Vice Presidential debate. Her wit, confidence and folksy demeanor was reminiscent of another great maverick, Ronald Reagan. In just 90 minutes, she managed to shatter the false bimbo image the mainstream media have spent weeks meticulously fabricating.

Gov. Palin's performance has shamed Katie Couric, Charlie Gibson and the rest of the media elites - If they have any shame. By all indications, they don't. The way the left has dispensed with the hold-harmless tradition of "hands-off the kids" and gone after the Palin children is both deplorable and unprecedented. It tells Republicans, Independents, and moderate Democrats alike everything they need to know about the extremist nature of "Obama-mania."

Examples are plentiful. NBC joked that Todd Palin - Gov. Palin's husband and father to her five beautiful kids - was having incestuous sexual relations with his own minor daughters, in a disgusting and decidedly unfunny hit-skit on Saturday Night Live. And Lefty pro-bama blogs, such as the Daily Kos, have targeted teenage daughter, Bristol, cruelly attacking her over and again on a personal level. (I imagine Todd's itchin' to drag those patchouli-bathed pansies out to the woodshed for a not-so-tender lesson in how to properly treat his little girl.)

"How dare McCain pick her?" they bellow. "How cynical." To them, she's not a real woman and they've said as much. Just as Clarence Thomas is really a rich white guy in blackface, she's just a misogynistic female impersonator.

Not surprisingly, the ultraliberal and presumptuously self-styled "National Organization for Women" has been beating the warpath drums, claiming that Palin is " more a conservative man than she is a woman." And Wendy Doniger - a feminist Kool-Aid guzzler with the University of Chicago - wrote in Newsweek that "(Palin's) greatest hypocrisy is in her pretense that she is a woman." (Sorry, gals; Sarah Palin's most definitely a woman. Suppose some of that hate boils down to the fact that the governor is so easy on the eyes?)

Still, it was uber-fem, Gloria Steinem, who placed her finger directly on liberal feminists' true bone of contention with Palin, writing, "She opposes just about every issue that women support. (She) opposes everything most other women want and need." Of course, Madam Steinem's "everything most other women want and need" can be summed up in a single word: Abortion.

Palin blew it, you see. She made an unforgivable "choice." She publicly expressed, through both word and selfless deed, that she values all people during every stage of development, from conception to natural death. Most egregiously, she refused the sacrificial rite of passage into authentic womandom. She declined to slaughter her own unborn child, Trig, to goddess feminism - even after doctors told her he was one of those Down syndrome throwaways. Steinem called her own abortion a, "pivotal and constructive experience." I guess, according to these nasty ninnies, we simply can't have a Vice President who "lacks experience" in "pivoting" and "constructing."

Think about it. Sarah Palin is poised to undo much of what the left has accomplished. Imagine her as a role model for millions upon millions of young girls around the world. Imagine those young girls embracing life over death on the abortion issue - embracing true feminism over angry, abortion-centric feminism. They absolutely can't have that and will stop at nothing to destroy her. We expect liberal bias from the media and other leftist elites. But this time around, the bias is off the charts. It's finally exposed liberals for who they truly are, and we have Sarah Palin to thank for it.

The reality is that - except for those who, like Gloria Steinem, think the preamble to the Declaration of Independence should have read: "All women are endowed by mother earth with the inalienable right to eat their own young" - Sarah Palin has connected with average Americans. Especially with women. Most notably (oh glory day) with Hillary Clinton supporters.

It's easy--she's a woman who made it on her own, yet she's conservative.

Hillary, a liberal, made it the way feminists despise--by marriage.

I loved that debate, and IMO, Palin won hands down. It’s funny that, speaking of the media, the drive bys first tried to tell us that Biden won because they (the media) didn’t like Palin’s colloquialisms. This morning’s headlines say that Palin and Biden both won. Flummoxed and desperate indeed.

[Article] Wendy Doniger - a feminist Kool-Aid guzzler with the University of Chicago - wrote in Newsweek that "(Palin's) greatest hypocrisy is in her pretense that she is a woman."

This remark is beneath contempt.

LOL! That's pretty much it: feminazis can't stand a woman who's better looking than they are and is capable of sustaning a stable, long term relationship, so they claim she's not a "real" woman.

YES! I almost blew my top on Sunday when watching someone by the name of Liz Trotta discuss Sarah with one of the Anchors on FOXNEWS. She actually said that she was disgusted watching Sarah drag around that “handicapped” baby. Her remark was full of hatred against that child. These feminists want babies aborted and if not aborted, then, in Hitlerian style, they want them removed from sight! If I were an undecided voter, that comment alone would change my mind. These leftists are monsters.

> Why angry feminists can’t stand Palin

Dead simple:

1) She’s a Real Woman, just like WonderWoman
2) She’s I.D.D.G. just like Gillian Angerson
3) She has a very tidy figure
4) She has very tidy ankles
5) She has an IQ well into the 3 digits
6) She has a great husband amd 5 great kids
7) She is going to be a Grandma
8) She can shoot guns and drive 4WDs
9) One day she will be POTUS
10) God and Jesus love her, and she loves them

In short, she has it all.

If angry feminists in the US look anything like they do in New Zealand, they cannot claim any of these 10 points.

Most angry feminists I’ve seen look like an elephant’s West End. Sometimes they even smell like an elephant’s West End. NOT FUNNY! Not even in jest...

You’re right. That’s the only way they can feel superior about themselves. Actually, I should correct my post from “ugly” to “fugly.”

Watch for the upcoming discussion of the mental health care of the generation of women (Steinem’s) as they age hit retirement/nursing homes. A different kind of anger management and depression therapy will be needed, as so many have no children or extended family interaction. The bitterness shown politically today will be the anxiety/depression/anger management issue of tomorrow, as these women face their ‘choices’ alone.

You will notice very few of the pundits and naysayers who criticize Palin - will never take her on in an adversarial ad lib role - Q&A a la Couric maybe, forensic debate maybe, but one on one mano a mano? Never.

There are few females in broadcasting and/or politics who can match her style, her comedy, her wit, her intellect, her humor and her commitment to her personal beliefs and her gladly welcomed responsibilities.

Palin is living the walk - others just talk about it.

They can be “pro-choice” and still insist that some women HAVE to have an abortion.

Leftist women view Sarah Palin’s life as an accusation and condemnation, and they can’t stand it.

They’ve committed infanticide, on their own child. If you can think of a worse wrong, it’d be a challenge. They would prefer to never have any wrong assigned* to that crime, because it leads down a road that they can’t handle. They’ve suppressed it all their lives, to the detriment of their own mental health.

(*The dems removed the words referring to “rare” from their platform - that phrase connoted negativity on the act.)
