Palin slams Obama as campaign turns ugly

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is a friend to terrorists, the running mate of Republican John McCain said on Saturday in the latest sign the final month of the campaign is turning increasingly nasty.

The comment by Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was dismissed by the Obama campaign as "gutter politics" and came shortly after the McCain campaign had already called the U.S. senator from Illinois a liar.

With polls showing McCain trailing Obama in many battleground states, including several won by Republicans in the last presidential election in 2004, Palin told reporters she will be an attack dog leading up to the November 4 election.

Speaking at a fund-raiser in Englewood, Colorado, she launched an aggressive assault on Obama just days after both candidates urged Congress to set aside partisan politics to pass a $700 billion package to free up frozen credit markets.

"Our opponent though is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough that he is palling around with terrorists who would target their own country," Palin said of Obama, also calling him an embarrassment.

Oh of course, you know the drill, it isn’t consider “ugly” until the truth is spoken about a marxist, socialist, fascist wannabe who wants to become president and do evil things in the White House.

Actually, brilliant strategy on the McCain campaigns part. Let the ashes fall after the Nat’l Enquirer type media attacks on Palin have died down (is her daughter pregnant, etc.) and then hit back hard just before the election when people are more inclined to really listen to politics.

Yeah, Ayers would know something about being in a gutter. The thought of that filthy idiot spending a night in the Lincoln bedroom. There were plenty who jumped on the Lincoln bed when the Clintons were in the house. Ayers blew up the Capitol. I can never forgive him.

The only thing that got Slick elected, was the economy,,,and

the only thing that allowed Slick to remain in office, was again the economy.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I would express it differently, I would say that the only thing that got him elected and kept him in office was the IGNORANCE OF THE ELECTORATE concerning the economy. The economy was already on the mend when Slick was elected and the vaunted job creation during his reign had little or nothing to do with his actions. I used to ask those who ranted about the great “Clinton economy” to name what he had done to make the economy prosper. I am still waiting for an answer.

William Ayers, Tony Rezko, Pfleger, Wright, Al-Mansour....are all vulnerable souls, needing protection from mean conservatives.

They must be.

It's for sure that the main stream media never, ever looked at them or asked any questions.

If I, a lowly peasant, have a darned good idea of Braaaaaack's background, what has hindered the MSM from unstopping their eyes and seeing a little bit of truth?

The attack smacks of desperation because Americans are never going to digest the intricate facts behind it. Barry and Bill sat on the same Board of Directors for a period (so did a lot of other people) and they live in the same neighborhood. This does not on first blush smack of them being “pals” and 90% of Americans simply are not going to get it. I agree that there is a real and despicable connection between the two but unless we put on a big ad campaign that goes to length to explain this (a la the Swift Boat campaign), this is a lost cause.

Oh yeah, why push it? I mean, my neighbor's a former terrorist and my husband sits on a board with a communist sympathizer. Just everyday, ordinary Americans are too simple to understand the nuance of these things. May as well give up.

I think that the American people can understand a sentence like “Obama took money from a known terrorist.”

Obama could’ve said “no thank you, terrorist, I won’t take your money.” He could’ve said “no thank you, terrorist, I won’t let you host a fundraiser at your house for me”

But Obama didn’t. Obama said “thank you for the money, terrorist” Obama said “thank you for hosting a fundraiser at your house”

The connections are actually pretty deep, but an argument about what constitutes a “friend” might be trickier than
a simple “Obama takes money from terrorists.”

Ayers is the “American Osama Bin Laden” and the Weathermen / Weather Underground is the “American Al-Qaeda”

Didn’t Ayers get Obama that job in Chicago? Well, we know it’s true, but it might be hard to prove.

For those of you, and I know there aren't many, who doubt what Sara Barracuda said, check this thread:

Obama worked with terrorist (Ayers and Obama's group gave money to Israel hate group after 9/11)

Keep slamming because our nations survival depends on it.

Spread the word.....

This is something you should be
aware of so you don’t get blind-sided.
This is really going to catch a lot
of families off guard. It should
make you worry.

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000
per home (couples) McCain does not
propose any change in existing
home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you
will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.
If you are heading toward retirement
and would like to down-size your
home or move into a retirement
community, 28% of the money you
make from your home will go to taxes. This
proposal will adversely affect the
elderly who are counting on the income
from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How will this affect you?
If you have any money invested in stock
market, IRA, mutual funds,
college funds, life insurance, retirement
accounts, or anything that pays
or reinvests dividends, you will now
be paying nearly 4 0% of the money
earned on taxes if Obama become president.
The experts predict that ‘higher
tax rates on dividends and capital gains
would crash the stock market yet
do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will
more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation
needed. This is pretty
straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families
have lost businesses,
farms and ranches, and homes
that have
been in their families
for generations because they could not
afford the inheritance tax.
Those willing their assets to loved
ones will not only lose them tothese taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on
homes that are more than
2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if
gas weren’t high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources
consumption (heating
gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts
and last but not least....

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine
so we can receive the same
level of medical care as other
third-world countries!!!

Well, I need to amend the last article. He didn’t fictionalize the character Johnny Salami, he just took a few liberties with the details about Salami, and the details about the rest of the people with him were not correct either. It didn’t help that he wouldn’t help the guy writing this particular story either.
