My congressman, Daniel Lipinski (D-IL) voted no. Good man.
Too bad others did not follow suit.
Indeed.
I was watching at work when the “time remaining” hit zero.
over 2 dozen congressmens’ votes came in “after” time was called and it appeared that both figures were going DOWN as well as UP while the dust settled.
So who was sitting on the fence and why were they permitted to “change” after time was called?
I would be very interested to know!
Everything is as it should be. The Constitution gets trampled, the government gets bigger, the taxpayers get stuck with more debt, and pitifully mismanaged companies get clean balance sheets.
My wish is that all of the Democrats and Republicans who voted “No” recognize that they don’t need their parties anymore and join together to form a new third party. It’s time to fire the Rats and the Pubs.
Time isn’t called until the chair bangs the gavel and announces the vote totals....... Remeber when the pubs held a vote open for a couple of hours into the wee hours of the morning trying to change a few votes? Politics is politics in our houses of governance.
I heard that. How frustratingly frustrating. They were right after the first vote.
My sexy and gracious congress woman Kathy McMorris voted NO.
my RINO held in there for a no, Guess we will keep him on life support for a few more years
We laugh at Democrats as they try to tax us into prosperity.
Now we can laugh... or cry... as Bush and the Republicans “bail us out” into prosperity.
It’s two heads of the same coin, No Thanks.
Snotnose Wyoming Congress-Person-At-Large, Barbara Cubin, is not running for re-election so she voted YESSSSSS! What a pile of crap.
Mine too; Chris Smith.
Congressman Barrett has always been a pretty reliable conservative until today, when it REALLY counted.
Well, SCREW HIM! He is now just like Lindsay Graham to me. I will vote for his Democrat challenger. At least then I'll KNOW what I am getting.
America died today; Gresham Barrett helped kill her.
(I'm so freaking mad I'm shaking!)
My congressman, Davis, Ky.4th manned up and voted no. Apparently no pork for me, just the sh*t sandwich when this baby gets paid for.
