In Tennessee, I have seen 1 sign that said McCain/Palin. I asked where they got and her neighbor said the lady worked at the local GOP office, but when I called, none to give out.

I don’t get it. What are campaign dollars going for if not distributing campaign material. I don’t remember having to go online to order bumper stickers before because I couldn’t get any! Our local sheriff even has signs available for free.

I ordered a bumper sticker and yard sign and it took over two weeks to be delivered. I thought they took my money and were not going to send anything.

"I get the sense that on the statewide basis, the grass roots Republicans don't quite feel like they have a natural fit within the McCain organization," Slade said....

This is BS. McCain won this state comfortably in the primary. In fact, it is FL that killed the Romney campaign and handed the primary to McCain. The entire state party infrastructure was utilized to promote McCain. Ever list I have ever been on in this state was used for emailing and direct mail.

That said, we have to get going and work to elect this team.

This election has really made me sick! It was bad enough I had to swallow the “McCain is your nominee so support him because Obama sucks” pill; but now McCain won’t even fight his own battles, and I’m expected to carry his water for him. He has mismanaged his campaign so incredibly that either it’s on purpose or he never wanted to really win in the first place.

He closes his speech at the RNC by saying “Fight with me, Fight with me” but hell he won’t even fight. When he has the opportunity to demonstrate his “pen”’s power at cutting pork, he instead uses it to wholeheartedly endorse the bailout bill saying “No bill is perfect.” and that the people who oppose the bill “just don’t understand.” It’s not that I’m not going to vote for McCain; I will because there is no other option, but I am tired of being treated like an outcast by McCain and his campaign because I’m conservative.

Now the state GOPs are meeting to figure out how to help a man win who seems intent on ensuring a victory for Obama. I wish McCain would fight for me; or at least FIGHT WITH ME to win this election.

There are only so many times I can turn my cheek and swallow everything I believe in to support McCain without him doing something. Yes he chose Palin, but since then he’s kept her caged, and clipped her wings. Heck he won’t even fight for her when it’s revealed the moderator of her debate wrote a glowing book about the impact Obama has had on politics.

Let me end this rant by begging Sen. McCain to please fight with me to win this election.

Sorry for the rant, but I think perhaps this article was the last straw I could take this morning. :o)

Problem in Florida is the same problem everywhere else: John McCain thinks Democrats want to be “bipartisan” five weeks before an election.

If the Dem voters in Florida and/or Michigan vote for Obama, they're idiots. He was fully in favor of 'disenfranchising' those voters in the primary.

Oh, that's right. They're Dems, so of course they're idiots.

I just got a great idea for a campaign commercial.

It starts with a flag with the Obama logo flying in full screen. A narrarator starts talking about how people get tired of the same old thing and that sometimes they get the impulse to embrace something new.

Then, fly an American flag and narrarator then says that some symbols have more meaning and are more timeless and important than others.

Someone else can think of more stirring words to describe Old Glory as more than a fad but I think it would make an exciting ad and showcase Obama's arrogance.

It seems every time McCain reaches back across the aisle and tries to move to the moderate-left, he loses a few more points in the polls.

The Palin effect is probably over. She might help the ticket gain a few points in the debate tonight. But, even if she doesn, McCain will lose them during the month, as he continues to be the same ole McCain.

I complained twice to McCain's campaign via e-mail about this very thing---but for Ohio, not Florida.

No reply.

Sometimes I wonder if the McCain campaign didn't put the clamps on Palin because she was outshining and stealing the limelight from her boss.

Fatal error, if true......and I believe it's at least partially true.

Uh, this is from the St. Petersburg Times...they have an agenda. Here’s how bad the St. Petersburg Times is...for the last 3 weeks I’ve been getting a “free” Sunday edition dumped in my driveway. All my neighbors too, so they’re giving away free papers on Sunday in hopes that their biased pro-Obama articles will influence the election.

I think we are seeing the difference the tons of dirty money flowing into the Obama campaign can make.

Obama has the state flooded with paid staff and the roadsides and yards are awash in Obama campaign signs.

There are almost no McCain signs anywhere and people can’t get them.
Since the convention McCain campaign offices have been saying that yard signs and posters are due in a day or two but they never seem to arrive.

The only McCain-Palin sign I have personally seen is one quite small one in front of the local campaign office.

Just ONE sign!

Consequently the office itself is hardly noticeable.
