Of the 85 polls on that page, only 7 show Kerry with a lead.

As much as people love to trash polls (there are some pretty terrible outfits still in business), they generally tell the truth if you look at the numbers as an overall picture. Right now McCain is behind, its why I skipped 4 classes today to go knock doors.

It was 47% 46% of likely voters with a moe of 4. Considering Bush won by over 2%, that poll was technically correct. The margin of error just flipped against Kerry

You think McCain will take OH despite the voter fraud? I hope you are right. Perhaps he will need to win by several points to overcome the ACORN crowd, and the Demo sec. of state who will bend the rules for her man. That is one thing Bush did not have to contend with last time. And while there was fraud, I think the Dems and the far left are even more fired up this time. Not to mention they know they can cast fraudulent votes and get away with it. Who’s going to squawk, the media? Ha ha.

This poll from 4 years ago is interesting, and sort of encouraging. It shows polls can be way off, even closer to the election. But as you pointed out, Bush was in a stronger position at this point. McCain and Palin are going to have to fight back extraordinarily hard to come from behind.

Wait a week or two. It has already started in Ohio and Michigan. Three weeks before the elections with an intensive ad campaign about Obama and Wright is enough to utterly destroy Obama.

Different candidates. Different year. Same media strategy.

It's amazing that some people fall for it time and time again.

Obama also voted for it. Does that mean he'll rise in the polls?

Good for you .I work at the Sac area office some times.
Do not panic yet.
Gallup and Rasmussen tracking polls are pure formulated witchcraft .
Read about this quiet change made by Battleground that they kept to themselves until cornered by someone but there poll shift four points overnight .The magic of formula driven tracking polls.
You can make one change and you get a whole new POLL !

Wait until the 527 groups allied with McCain unleash hell on Obama regarding the reverend of hate, racism, and anti-Americanism.

it's not going to matter... aren't you reading about all the FReepers who are not voting for McCain because he supports the senate's bailout bill?

You are confusing those freepers and the real world. Those freepers that you are referring too are an extremely tiny minority who were not going to vote for McCain to begin with. Now someone will read this post and tells me that he or she wanted to vote for McCain but not anymore because he voted for the bailout.

its diffewrent bill than the HOuse bill .
it supports the banking insurance end and is void of the accord and la raza earmarks.
Paulson is an idiot, his non stop screaming and the 24/7 Obama news media has forced everyone to do something to keep the nervous nellies on wall street from panicking.
the term bailut attached to this bill is a huge mistake .
The S&L mess had similar bills drawn up in 1988-89.

I heard somebody recently on the boob tube say that "undecideds" usually break from 60% to 80% Republican. Anybody else hear this? If so, do you have a source?
