Certainly much more newsworthy than Obama’s background and legislative record.

More and more, it seems likely that this election will mark the decisive victory of the anti-values of the 1960s over American traditions. The great likelihood now is that Barack Obama's inauguration will signal not only the end of national pride/patriotism but also the demise of marriage and family. What is saddest is that most of our People-reading, MTV-viewing populace will not even notice.

"Yes, we have four children and were trying to find the right time, Etheridge said when asked about marriage in an interview set to air on Wednesday night." How I long for simpler times when two lesbians would get married before moving in together and having kids.

Melissa Etheridge will wed girlfriend Tammy Lynn Michaels. . . . Not really.
"Yes, we have four children. . . ."
No, you don't.
She has two children with her former partner Julie Cypher. . .
Impossible.
and in 2006, Etheridge and Michaels had their own twins.
Nope. Somebody else was involved, I guarantee it. Go on Maury, take a test, you'll see.
