It was the kind of liberal media bias that is perhaps the most telling of all. The unconscious sort, revealing an MSMer's world view. On today's Early Show, introducing the portion of her interview with Sarah Palin dealing with abortion, Katie Couric states: "Palin says she makes no apologies for her pro-life views."
Can you ever imagine Couric introducing an interview with a Dem and saying "so-and-so makes no apologies for his pro-choice views"? Neither can I. In Couric's circles, support for abortion rights in this default position, the view that all right-thinking people hold. No apologies necessary.
But being "pro-life"? That's the kind of thing any cultured person should really consider apologizing for. If Palin won't, so be it: but she better not expect to be invited to the better parties on the Vineyard this summer.

Why should she even think of apologizing ping to Today show list.
Why should anyone apologize for being pro-life? I’ve never seen anyone call for apologies from the pro-death crowd!
I wouldn't. In fact, my response is "So, you support killing babies, Hmmmm?".
Why should she apologize for her views? I don’t see Couric saying, ‘Obama makes no apology for promoting a culture of death.’
And KC wonders why her ratings are being flushed down the toilet . . .
I’m proud to say I have NEVER watched her.
I’m actually surprised that Couric didn’t say she was unapologetic about her “anti-choice” views. Isn’t that the preferred liberal euphemism to trick the public into thinking that they’re not really pro-death?
Dear Katie,
1) Sarah looks good in glasses. You look like a creep.
2) Being “pro-life” is the norm. Barak Hussein zer0bama should repent of his radical pro-death views.
Sincerely,
A. Bustard
Couric what a skank of a reportette.
Couric is a bubble-headed bimbo, always has been, always will be.
Perky Katie doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo that abortion on demand is becoming a less popular view among younger, female especially, voters. And the “feminist movement” that’s been used for so many years lost all credibility during the Clinton years. I think if they keep hammer Gov Palin on her conservative views, they’ll find that more people will support her. At least she’s willing to take position and stick with it, which is pretty hard to find in Washington. Hmmmm ... a politician with integrity. What a concept.
I consider it a small victory her positions were described as “pro-life”...there was a day when, and they still exist, when “news” people would call them “anti-choice”, “anti-woman” or something else that sounds disdainful.
As these lefties lose their minds - we can only pray that the voters will find theirs.
Just like Katie makes no apologies for her pro-death views.
The ones I’ve had conversations with (admittedly very few) have tried to argue that fetuses aren’t really babies. That’s easy to dispute what with scientific data. That’s when I hit them with my killing babies remark. Sure, I lose acquaintances, but they’re not people I’m inclined to associate with.
In other news, Fireman Jim Johnson has refused to apologize for saving an old lady from a burning building...
