Poll averages have Obama up 4%. THAT'S IT! With an unpopular war, an unpopular president, a terrible economic fallout, and the liberal media glorifying Obama, you would think Obama would be up AT LEAST 10%. But he's not. All this favor for the democrats, and all Obama can manage is 4% over John McCain?
Obama is going to lose this election. Handily. And this isn't just some pollyanna post, it's the truth. A bill will get passed, and the roar over the bad economy will fade somewhat. And, in the meantime, McCain will rebound in the polls with the help of PRAYER and PALIN.
Folks, it's going to happen. Obama peaked too early. The closer the election gets, the more people will start taking a serious look at the candidates. And they are not going to elect an inexperienced lightweight in Barack Obama. The Obama Youth will no more sing praises to his majestic name.
When the dust settles, John McCain will be the 44th president of the United States. And Sarah Palin will be his proud Vice President.
This is a fact.
Nice of you to neglect the almost two years worth of postings in between my sign-up date and today.
Most of us are in “I told you so mode at this point”. No GOP candidate has ever won trying to out Liberal a Liberal. The mistakes of 2006 keep repeating.
That Fannie-Freddie video has gone viral. People KNOW what happened now.
We aren’t as stupid as the Dems and ‘elites’ think we are.
That's about the 5th time I've seen that question in as many days.
Hint, you're supposed to lurk first and find out.
You sir, need a humor transfusion. Get over yourself.
Time flies like an arrow.
When you post your own work, as opposed to an article, blog entry, or video by someone else.
Welcome to FR. Excuse my former goofiness.
The vanity tag is just what FR regulars dub opinion pieces, whereas most of the forum is dedicated to discussing news articles. I don’t see it as a big deal so long as it’s put in the proper sub forum(chat). Besides it often yields ample opportunity for humor-sometimes quite unexpectedly!
But to your original point, I’d say we have plenty to fear right now when you look at the battleground state trends.
well I am freaking out because I dont know anything about obama’s background, except fake birth certificate, running with american-hating terrorist, total socialist agenda and he still gets all msm positive coverage, vast amounts of foreign money to his campaign, added to an absolutely corrupt voting scheme by the dems ,a dem orchastrated financial crisis and to top it off today in Ohio,we get one-day registration/voting!!!!!! what the hell is that!!!!Ohio has a big increase in population that ,if not illegal immigrants are lib’s that will vote ,,what,2,,3,,,who knows how many times. I hope and know in a fair fight,we can beat any liberal,,we will sure need every vote.
You posted post 7 almost eleven minutes ago just to post this?
All I am saying is, why is Obama only up by 4%? It’s because, despite the media trying to tell the public that America has gone to hell and only Obama can save it, people STILL DON’T trust Obama to be president.
I would be worried if it were Hillary. I believe she WOULD be up by 10% or more. Just goes to show that the democrats picked the wrong candidate.
A vanity is when one posts their opinion as a thread instead of a comment.
There’s only a few folks around here who are talented enough to pull this off with provocative intellect. I am one of those but my modesty prevails as I don’t like stealing others’ thunder or making someone feel worthless and insignificant while pondering the meaning of the universe in my words.
With a lot more guts and faith than some FR longtimers. Let’s crush B-O in our lifetime.
That's pretty good. I've had one, was looking at all our wonderful choices for President (sarc) and thought, how nice it was to have Ronald Reagan, so I posted one of his best quotes. I just remember someone posted a wonderful picture of him in front of a row of American flags. Brought tears to my eyes. Just like this election (but for a very different reason!)
Oh, and for the record, he didn't have any foreign policy experience either.
Yes turn the country over to some naive hard core Marixt and screw over a promising conservative talent (Palin) just so you and your perpetually miserable ilk can be happy. I think you are a loser that puts you own pet ideology above the interests of this great country and have zero respect for you.
Reply with something snarky and I’ll dispatch a black helicopter to pick you up and dispatch you to a kamp.
Well I would agree except this is McCain we are talking about. There is a much better economic proposal (Newt’s) that he could run on. He could be drill, drill, drill. He could hang this whole mortgage crisis on Raines and the dems.
Rab, I stand with you; McCain is an embarrassment.
We’ve had so many pessimistic garbage vanities from non-newbies over the past several weeks so just ignore the jerks and tell them to “TALK TO THE HAND”.
YOU GO GIRL!
Hey, I put instant coffee in a microwave oven and almost went back in time.
