Please contact your congressman and senator and demand they vote against this bail out bill which gives ACORN 20% of the money and helps wall street and the banks......I just called and agressively voiced my opposition.
ACORN is still in this?????
It was taken out over the weekend unless something has changed.

Hi! I thoguht the ACORN provision in this bill was out? Is it not?
It has probably been stated already, but they are not arguing over whether to do the bail out, they are arguing over how to spend the largess that has just fallen into their laps.
Our Congrescritter was just on the radio this morning by phone to DC said that the ACORN provisions and some other bad stuff were removed from the bill..............

I thought I heard yesterday the ACORN provision was out.
It doens't matter......
ACORN has been removed, to the best of my knowledge, but this is still using chemotherapy to take care of the flu.
It was reported this morning that the ACORN giveaway was taken out. That it was even in there at all shows how clueless these dimwits are. ACORN, Community Reinvestment Act, Fannie, Freddie... are what put us into this fix.

Any Republican who votes for the bailout with ACORN and LaRaza still getting 20% of any profits on taxpayer money ought to be sent packing on Nov. 4.

Do we know which congress member(s) added ACORN, LaRaza, etc., to this initially? My understanding is that it’s been taken out but I’d still like to know which person put it in.
It’s been taken out but only a moron would believe that no money will find it’s way to ACORN anyway. There are loopholes big enough to sail container ships full of cas through.
The only way to guarantee that billions of dollars in pork don’t exist is to kill it dead.
