"We are turning into mind numbed robots."

Oh really?!! Not questioning what is going on in Washington is what "mind numbed robots" do.

Yeah, the Taxpayers know that once the Gov gets it’s grubby hands on your $$s, it is GONE, GONE, GONE.
We would be better off if the $$ was just flushed down the toilet.

Since there was no effort to clarify the words, it was a slander — a deliberate slander. I will give Bush one fig leaf: maybe some adviser is to blame.

Anyone suspicious of Bush has reason to be. Sorry, but that’s a fact. I like him regardless as a human being, for what it’s worth.

“Give George Bush some credit. He’s the only lame duck in history that was able to cram an additional $700 billion through Congress in the last four months of his presidency.”

Let’s put that 700 Billion in perpective.

The entire war in Iraq and Afgan has cost about 10 Billion to date.
Small change compared to 700 Billion

I still can't believe that. $140,000,000,000 to the con-artists at ACORN.

You are speaking the past tense, correct? Because I thought the funding for ACORN, La Raza, etc., had been removed.

Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Your blame is all out of proportion and misplaced.

Are you kidding? He is the cheerleader...instead he should be veto’ing this mess. Perhaps you should be ashamed of yourself for advocating this disaster with your loyal devotion to President Bush at all costs...especially since wwe already have a Bush responsible for the Savings and Loans problems...funny how that was a disaster that was with a Bush too.

This is what is meant by "trickle-down economics" and it's nothing but a scam to line the pockets of CEOs at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Don't misunderstand: Lowering taxes and responsible and limited government spending is NOT (despite the hysterical wailing of the left) trickle-down economics.

But taking money from taxpayers and handing it to corporations with the rationale that this theft will "bail out the economy" IS TRICKLE-DOWN ECONOMICS!!!

There's an even better name for it: CORPORATE WELFARE

I didn't get to see it. Hopefully, somebody will have posted it to YouTube or another place where I can watch it after the fact.

I think we've all got a bad case of the don't give a shits about how the EU or any other nation will fare on account of our current crisis.

When our own house is needing repair, we need to focus on it FIRST...then everybody outside the house after that! Our legislators better remember this.

Yes. Past tense.

However, that something so far out of left field was even considered, shows me just what a horrible confidence job this was from the git-go.
