I was showing a bunch of these movies like the “Burning down the house” one to someone last night who is one of those almost mindless die hard liberals”. After he saw them he actually believed that this was democrats fault. He said to me. “Why isn’t John McCain using this in his campaign”. I said “I don’t understand that either”.
BTW he hates Obama and is planning on voting for John McCain. He said he has not voted for a republican since Nixon.
McCAIN is playing is bi-partisan ,go-between,jerk and say nothing consistent on the causes and the solutions

I hear ya! I am getting sick of it. They did a hit piece on Palin and about 5 or 6 puff pieces on Biden today. And its been all Obama the rest of the time. They showed a few minutes of a very tired McCain talking to Snuffluptagus and when they cut back to the host, Eric something or other, he looked scornful but then he visably brightened and said “now on to Barak Obama”.
Barry Obama would have voted yes on the first 3 page proposal...he admitted as much last week.
Everything is fixed as far as I am concerned. I think the House Republicans should vote no down the line on Monday.
And we need Newt in office again....
The GOP needs to vote like conservatives would, and that is to pass nothing where a ‘Rat is smiling.
And I’d really like to know why any American ought to trust our Congress as a whole in supporting a bail-out plan. Weren’t these legislators the same individuals who never saw this trouble coming down the pike? Why not use a plumber’s plunger and suck back as many assets as we can from Pelosi, all her geniuses who did nothing to stop this? There are truly no real brains at work to fix this mess. This whole thing is just insane.
And I’m sorry, but here’s where I differ as a Republican — let’s also have these CEOs and fat-cats begin paying back into their bail-out with their financial bonuses, their zillion dollar salaries and rewards. IMO, there are few true brains in the world today who *are* irreplaceable, but many can be switched out very easily.

Well, i am taking a break from watching the proceedings, and am watching some football today.
But why is anyone praising frank? it’s ludicous enough that the biggest thieves are the ones working on this bailout.
From the smirks on their faces at the middle of the nite news conference, this is not the first or only BJ they got from him or some other Republican recently. They must be passing the Viagra to keep this up!

Everyone needs to email Fox and tell them their bias is showing. FoxNews does pay attention to that. They want to be different so when the bias gets bad enough that people begin to notice, they may change their tune a little.

I don’t think the polls are manipulated. I think the refusal of President Bush & John McCain to call out the Democrats has led to most of the country believing this is ‘Bush’s Fault’, and a bailout of greedy Republicans.
