God bless you guys, we need you. You're our last great hope before the Democrats and RINOs push us all in and plunge us into full blown socialism.
Hang tough!!
By the way, just heard on FOX News something about the committees working on this bailout bill just had their Blackberries confiscated so they can't communicate with the outside world. I pray I misheard that.

“....unfortunately, our side doesn’t come out and say anything... we don’t communicate with the people... so while people are paying attention, all they get are the dem talking points... we’ve got to (our representatives) have got to take the time to communicate what is really happening...”
They don’t get the coverage in the media. Can’t do much about that.

And the media is totally letting the people down by not calling attention to these things. All this stuff should have a light shone on it but sadly its only on the internet where a limited number of people see it.

Are we going to get to read the fine print before they vote? Harry Reid says they hope to come to an agreement, then write the legislation

The Hillary Clinton PUMA’s have been warning us conservatives about the fraudulent tactics of the Obama brownshirt thugs who stole votes in the Dem caucuses.
We hear you PUMA’s loud and clear on this one! False messiah is quite the eloquent fraud n thug!

If anyone does that, they should set aside the extra money and not spend it. Just be sure you put it in a bank that wont go under :-)Absolutely - April 15th is still the day of reconing WRT income tax.
There are alternatives - quitting ones' job and going underground would work. As a bonus, while working for cash under the table, one could collect unemployment, food stamps, welfare, and other free aids courtesy of the remaining taxpayers. If enough people do this, the whole system will collapse (which would probably not be desirable either).

If John McCain co-sponsored a 2005 bill that would address this - why the heck didn’t he make a big deal of it last night? McCain is not seizing his opportunities.

Pelosi wouldn't know a principle if it went up her ass. She's not alone in that. Capitol Hill is a cesspool.

Can we ressurrect (sic) our founding fathers en masse and send them to DC to fix this messed up government which collectively screwed up their brilliant system? Methinks the Founding Fathers would set upon this bunch of statist ani with hot tar and chicken feathers, if not some stout hemp rope.

I don't know. The debate was leftist driven though. Remember...it was supposed to be about foreign policy.

Actually I think they just want us to sit down, keep out of the way and shut up. We are way to stupid to understand anyway. s/

John McCain talks a lot about lobbyist money corrupting congressmen. He should name names.
He should call out his “good friend” Chris Dodd by name. He should call out all of the players in this mess, including 0bama.
Decrying these practices in vague and general terms is not enough.
McCain knows who is filthy and corrupt in Congress.
He knows who is responsible for this crisis.
McCain is the Sheriff of the Senate, and he’s the only one who can expose it.
He’s going to have to take a bold stand, either with the American people, or his ‘friends’ in the Senate.
He needs to personally take this public.

On the contra, you should be glad that they did lose otherwise this bailout would have been granted post haste last week. I am thankful that the dems are going to have to have their handprint all over this. Whether or not this rescue is voted this weekend, within another week or so we will have another bailout except it will be for seven (7) trillion dollars rather that 700 billion. This is going to be a neverending race to the bottom. America is going to pay bigtime for voting for leftists of the democrat and republican variety over the last eight of nine decades. And the RINOs in our party and the Bushbots who constantly have excused his never ending march to the left bear immense responsibility for this catastrophe. Conservatives used to be able to place some faith in the republican party to right what has gone wrong in American but now under republican party leadership over the last 8 years they have presided over this plunge to the bottom.

I sure wish we could but we can’t. It seems like the people they entrusted this great nation to don’t have the will or even the desire to take it back and hold it. We are a bunch of cowards.

The (most) offensive thing going on (among a long list) is that the Repubs have not yet gotten the ACORN finance portion of the bill out yet. That CANNOT be allowed to stay in! Stand Strong Repubs!!! So we will continue to have a Free Republic!! The ACORN bit has got to go! That Chris Dodd has no shame...no shame AT ALL.
