Andrea Mitchell gave it the old college try for Obama this morning. Summarizing the debate on Today, Mitchell managed to cobble together a video clip that showed McCain's only stumble, while snipping out what many including her colleague Chris Matthews saw as the debate's most salient feature: the multiple times Obama expressed agreement with McCain.
And so it was that Andrea treated us to McCain's difficulties in pronouncing "Ahmadinejad." But the eight times Obama abjectly agreed with McCain? Not a one made it into the Mitchell editor's cut. Then there was Andrea's parting shot:
"The only question is whether in some of the reaction shots [McCain] looked too angry and dismissive of an opponent who seemed determined to remain cool."

Who cares if he had trouble pronouncing Ahmadinejad’s name? Hardly anyone prounces it correctly, most everyone pronounces it ‘Ahk...’ which is incorrect. Some even make it 4 syllables.
I didn’t see the show, but I dare say she mispronounced it.
By gum, you’re right! She DOES LOOK LIKE A CAMEL.
I think McCain did a wonderful job - and was really patient to having a lesser senator stand there and mock him with those facial expressions. There was no sign of respect by Obama for McCain - and that’s highly relevant with those in the work place.

Poor, poor Andrea...even Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, Barry’s biggest cheerleader, said Mac won. Other lib pundits have told the Friends it was a draw...and many admitted that Barry needs to lose the scowl and smirks. Steve called the bracelet moment—cringe worthy. And everyone keeps harping on the fact that Mac didn’t look at Barry once.

What about Barry’s insulting gaff-stumble when he had to look down at the name of the soldier on his bracelet.
