Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality."

Compared to her 20-minute meeting with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe and 30-minute meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Palin spent an hour and a half with Kissinger -- much longer than scheduled. McCain adviser Steve Beigun said the two discussed foreign policy issues, including Russia, Iran and China.

I’m making a list, and checking it twice... Obama’s been a BAD, BAD boy tonight... Lies, lies, and more lies... Thanks for posting this.
Looks like Obama’s Truth Squad may need to go after their own Dear Leader.

Yet, at MessNBC, one finds the following:
>>What does Kissinger favor? Posted: Friday, September 26, 2008 10:44 PM by Carrie Dann

In the debate over Obama’s position that he would be willing to talk to unsavory world leaders without precondition, Obama brought up that Henry Kissinger — an adviser to McCain — actually favors that.
That is true. Kissinger favors direct talks — without preconditions with Iran — but he prefers doing at the Secretary of State level....<<
Mccain said ‘President to President!’
‘True’...’but?’ That makes it false in my book.

The McCain List.
Obama attempted to score points in the debate dropping Secretary Kissinger's name even after Senator McCain batted down his first attempt. A foolish move on Obama's part.

Obama just got smacked down by Kissinger, the foremost expert of diplomacy in the world. And that's all Obama ever talks about; diplomacy, diplomacy, diplomacy.

His entire attitude is that of the affirmative action placement. He thinks he can say things and get a pass “just because of who he is.” He thinks that international diplomacy involves meeting the leaders of dictatorial regimes and, when they say, “we'll wipe Israel off the map,” that his reply “we'll say, no you won't” actually has some meaning in the real world.
That kind of childish bickering only has teeth in the nursery.
It is frightening how close this ignorant, arrogant, coddled Man-child is to the White House. If he is elected, dictators around the world will rejoice for two minutes before pouncing on America with bared teeth.

With everything that has come out about Nobama already, do you really believe this will dissuade his supporters from voting for him? LOL They are too blind to even care about the truth. Maybe some influence on the undecideds, but I can't see how anyone is still undecided at this late date.

Now I am surprised CNN would report anything negative on Obama. They seem to lean more toward Obama than McCain IMO, but apparently (according to comments they've made) they have decided that since Fox is overtly conservative and MSNBC is overtly liberal, they are going to be the "fair and balanced" station, and I have heard them point out, for instance, Obama's ad on the Spanish language stations, etc...

In other words OUSSABAMA is a croock and it must be nailed,aired,repeated,shown,highlighted...in many ways.
The kid of Chicago, citizen of the world, will try to use the “cut and run” tactic till the end because it’s the only way he can win fooling people.

I don’t believe he’s at all stupid. Rather, he’s well on his way to becoming a pathological liar. I have one in my family and he acts the same way. After telling a huge one he looks around and says, “Who me? I would never say anything like that!”

Well...glad you enjoyed that.....
But we're suppose to be civil here at Free Republic (Unlike Democrat Underground) so I thought I would give the more colorful word for "butt" a sort of "International" sounding accent ...most commonly heard in Britain.
Actually my spouse had a colleague who's first name was Robert so his ID for his email was "rsoles"@ ....etc. Every time he went to Britain someone would eventually point out to him how they laughed every time they received an email from him.
