Mods, if one already exists (I couldn't find one), please delete this one..many thanks in advance..
First things first..what are the drinkin words?
xxx = take a sip xxxx = take a gulp xxxxx = bottoms up
Thanks. Look, it does not help our side to pump rose water up all of our butts. McCain obviously did not have time to rehearse nor memorize really cool talking points, BECAUSE HE WAS DOING THE WORK WE PAID AND ELECTED HIM TO DO, while Obama was being coached on how to attempt to keep his arrogant head down and how to smile into the camera at each American in his La-Z-Boy.
Nevertheless, there will be other debates and one theme ought to be drilled into McCain's head: DEFINE OBAMA. Just like Rush Limbaugh, Sean, etc. are trying to do. AMERICA DOES NOT KNOW WHAT OBAMA STANDS FOR and what his history and connections are all about. There are sly and discreet ways to place these facts inside the debate answers, and McCain is sharp enough to be able to do this.
I winced a LOT tonight. Each time he trotted out a Clintonesque story. Each time he repeated one of his saws. I get why he did it, but he needs to move on. I was actually quite sure McCain was going to trounce Obama, and was disappointed that he didn't.
Again injecting some reality here. The blinders some people here have is amazing. Same people who said the night before 2006 election we were going to pick up seats because all the polls were rigged.
McCain will never have a better subject than he did tonight. Not that he did poorly, but Obama didn't hurt himself, which is the point worth remembering.
As I recall, Kerry won all the debates as well. According to the Media.
Fox News gave Bush a tie in one of them.
What’s new? “Obama is ahead in the polls, so he didn’t hurt himself.”
“McCain needed to hit a home run, but he didn’t.”
“Obama looked energetic; McCain looked tired.”
It’s the same old media crap.
Goober was GREAT!!!! I LOVE his talk on the class warfare stuff. I think McCain should use that. When I talk to people that work for someone else for a living, they don’t seem to get it. (Taxing their employer) BUT when I explain it to them, they get it. McCain needs to lay that out for the sheeple.
Luntz gathered a group who SAID they were undecided with a 50-50 split (supposedly) D&R. At the end he had them raise their hands as to who they thought was the better. Obama won by 3 to 2 (my guess from the screen). Personally, I thought McCain came off the better but the focus group said Obama was in the present and one said McCain was too aggressive.
Not a good result, IMO.
Plugs Biden is about to weigh in on MSNBC
So is Charles telling US here on FR that our prayers were for NOT? I’m telling you folks...MCPAL is going to win bank on it!! They are going to win, how do I know this, I just do! We’ve known for months that the mediaWHORES were covering for Osama. WHY are we surprise what the mediaPUKES think? STAY THE COURSE...PRAY AND FAST! Don’t let those demonic OsaMA followers tell us other wise!! DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED!! STAY THE COURSE ...DAMN IT!!!
Luntz focus group seemed to be from the same pool as the O.J. jury. Obama was much more attacking and did stutter, plenty as he always does without prompter. McCain tried to take the high road, seemed less prepared to rip apart Obama.
They're just reading from their pre-written script.
Krauthammer makes his nest in the den of the devil. Washington Post will be happy now.
I hope you are right. Honestly, I was nervous in 2000 (so much so that I “locked” my jaws from grinding my teeth - and found out I have TMJ disorder. This election has me waaaaaaay more nervous. Obama acted like a pouty little child; how that can resonate with anyone I don’t know, but there are some to whom Obama can do no wrong.
FNC montage...”John your absolutely right”
I think so, the CNN imbeilces say he was condescending while completely ignoring it was McCain that called him senator while bambi called McCain JOHN all night.
I need to srart drinking heavily so I can see what people are seeing when they’ve been drinking.
hypocrats:
of the mentally ill
for the mentally ill
BY the mentally ill....
in no particlar schizoid order!
I never noticed that before, but you're right--LOL!
"Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality.""

Obama came off as strange, dark, irritable, interruptive.
And the Pockiston pronunciation came off as weird.
I’m no fan of JM so I’m not biased when I say he won, hands down. We live during insecure times and he came across as experienced and knowledgeable, someone that can lead.
