This was in the OLD days - cut a sentence out of the page and glue it in the new position ...
I would go to Dad and say, “What is the subject of this sentence? Okay, now what is the sailor supposed to DO with the ignition assembly?” And once I had it sorted out, I’d have to rewrite it in military techno-gibberish.
I could still do this, if the Navy had a place for 40-ish ladies with a lot of kids.
