So who exactly is the idiot talking about? The big cigar reference was an obvious reference to Rush but has he listened to anything Rush has said about this all week? Rush hasn’t come out for or against anything yet. Yet BOR attacks him...serious case of Golden EIB microphone envy is you ask me.
He had John Stossel on last night, and Stossel wouldn’t take that bait he used about foreign investors moving their money out.
Stossel had a great line at the end of their conversation...something along the lines of “These crises tend to get the government more power, and that’s exactly what we don’t need”. I agree 100% with him on this...there needs to be something written into this legislation to make it a loan and not a bailout.

I damn near killed the remote about an hour ago. Geraldo “The Fake”, was spewing his take on the subject. He is the very last person I want to see speaking about the “Bail Out”.
What would be, or maybe will be, even more fun is watching Sarah Barracuda, the pit bull with lipstick, do a number on him.

O'Reilly's knowledge matches his background. He was a reporter for CBS (I believe) not an analyst. A few years ago he had a guest on, and they were discussing Joe McCarthy. O'Reilly knew little more about McCarthy than what he had heard from liberal sources judging by his comments. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of his guest who had to correct Bill on multiple points about the history of that situation. So I would guess Bill's knowledge of economics is about as great as his knowledge of history. Which is not good.

Remember a couple years ago when O’Reilly denounced FR on his TV program as “extreme”? His patronizing and condescending “looking out for the folks” (as though we infants need his help) can’t disguise the fact that he’s 90% windbag and 10% bully. When he interviews a guest he interrupts them every four words and costantly overtalks them. Like everything else, for him it’s all about ME. I watch him very seldom because every program is “deja vu all over again.”
