Those people who call you asking for a contribution are usually paid by the hour and not paid that much. They’re just doing a job and expecting them to know a lot about the CAUSE is just silly.

Besides, the NRA has not released its endorsements. Site has page that says endorsements will be posted on 10/1.

I agree. He was upset about what Meygen Kelley was saying but so was I. He was upset because of the tacky ad that NBC showed of McCain after his cancer surgery. The fact that Howard Deans brother was involved in that ad had O’Rielly saying that it should be investigated because with 527 ads, they aren’t allowed to confer with the candidate or party of a candidate. I agreed with O’Rielly. I think the relationship with the Dean brothers is to close on this. But Meygen said it wasn’t illegal or shouldn’t be investigated. I do think it should be checked into.

In England you are English, you hold a English passport,
same and Ireland or America

My wifes maiden name is scottish/irish but she is American and tells people that
she doesn’t go to scotland and say she’s scottish as everyone there would think you are nuts

She tells people she is American with her family going back to different countries

but first and forth most she is a proud American as I am

names mean nothing
,names does not give you a passport or citizenship

I know many Irish lads and lasses and they laugh when they hear Americans in Boston say they are Irish.
to them they are American and they are that

He lost any respect I may have had for him when he called FR a hate mongering website and quoted posts out of context. I guess he prefers the lovebirds at DU. He tries to appear confident yet it comes off more pompous and arrogant, IMHO.

You are right...I shouldn’t call him that. I will stick to McMoron. I will hold my nose to vote for him even though I know I am voting for a RINO. If he wins, I expect him to go balls out and expose and remove the corruption that exists in DC. Do I think he will actually do that? No. But I will hold him accountable.

Last night, Mark Levin played a clip of O'Reilly on his radio show saying the blame for this lands on NO ONE but President Bush. I cant even comprehend how Oreilly got there - and Jorge lost my support years ago.

I think we can safely assume Oreilly has demoted himself to democrat hack.

I think you might have gotten a call from a lady that works for a company that the NRA has contracted for the task of phone solicitation of donations. This is common practice for many entities. Sometimes the person on the phone has never even heard of who they are representing.

Well if you want to get technical, yes we are Americans. I was referring to descent. I am American from German descent. My late father had a very German surname. My late mother was American of Irish descent with an Irish surname.

No he isn’t but so many people seem to think he is supposed to be. He is not a conservative. I think he is very ignorant of facts. Like someone said he sees things in black and white and he won’t listen to the facts.

I remember O'Reilly's saying that McCarthy was running the House Unamerican Activities Committee hearings. Ann Coulter pointed out to him that McCarthy was a Senator, but his response was something like "Senators oversee the House". Ann told him that McCarthy had nothing to do with HUAC, but he just casually dismissed it with "I don't want to talk about it anymore."

Last night, on the one hand, he railed against speculators that were driving up the price of oil, but he was also afraid that investors would pull their money out of U.S. markets and put it into places like Singapore instead. Never mind that investors and speculators are the same people.

I swear, the man has the intellect that God gave a sack of gravel.
