Since the announcment of the choice of Sarah Palin as John McCain's Vice Presidential running mate, a continual firestorm and debate has ensued regarding her.
For traditionally minded and valued Americans, who see the United States of America as the most free and most prosperous nation on earth, that has been the greatest force for good and liberty in the world, and who are committed to conservative, all-American, principles, Sarah represents the best friend they have had emerge in politics on the national scene in a generation, since Ronald Reagan.
For those of a liberal, leftist persuasion, who see America as an enigma, and view her values and the spreading of them as something negative, and who hold to moral relativism and non-traditional values, Sarah represents their worst adversary. Her story and her accomplishments, coming to her as a woman who espouses and lives a pro-life, faith-based and conservative life style, countermand the entire liberal philosophy insisting that a woman can only be "liberated" through their tired liberal mantra encompassing pro-abortion, radical feminism, affirmative action, and non-traditional values to accomplish what Sarah has accomplished without them. Her story is a stark statement negating the entire liberal, feminist mind set...and they know it. Hence the abject, disgusting, and hate filled attacks on her and her family by the main stream media, the DNC, and leftists of all stripes in an attempt to find any issue, any controversy, any scandal to beset and besmirch her with.
But Sarah has taken these attacks in stride, and in fact has been empowered by them. More and more Americans are taking her side, both conservative and non-leftist democrats and independents who see these attacks for what they are. Ordinary Americans connect with her story, appreciate her accomplishments and applaud them, and are repelled by attacks on her and compelled to come to her side.
Sarah Palin's all-American story of a housewife who wanted to make a difference in her community joining the PTA and then rapidly rising from there, couples very well with John McCain's all-American, military hero image who came home from war, continued and rose in his military career, until deciding to serve his country in first the US Congress and then the US Sentate.
The differences to Barack Obama and Joe Biden could not be more compelling. Barack Obama was born to a non-traditional family that split up when he was an infant, who as a youth was confused and searching and fell into marijuana and cocaine use (by his own admission) and then gravitated to very liberal and even marxist associations which he willfully chose, worked with, and benefited from by propelling him into a political career more oriented towards changing American than serving her.
Sarah Palin...best friend or worst adversary...it is now left for the people to examine and decide.

FYI.
And, you can bet that I’m voting for Sarah! What a breath of fresh air!

bttt

...run like Hell, or get on your knees and BEG for mercy.
You are a "dead man walking".
I came around and will be voting for McCain/Palin.
To be sure, though, Gov. Palin was the tipping point for me. Without a Conservative on the ticket, I would not have voted for POTUS, and Sen. McCain would, surely, have lost. Not because I didn’t vote, but, because a few million others would not have voted, either.
Wonderful, Jeff!!! That’s one of the best pieces I’ve seen anywhere about our Sarah.
p.s. It seems that the MSM has mostly gone quiet about her — having failed to knock her out of the race quickly or even to do significant damage, now they are hoping to ignore her. I’m so sick to death of all these vicious lying POS media types. Their agendas are so transparent....
Unbelievable contrast that...but to be sure, you should have either a pic of Cindy there with Michelle, or Biden there with Sarah for the comparison...either of which would be equally compelling.
Michelle O’Bama, the new Helen Thomas.
Time to send Sarah on some major Moose hunts in DC.

I thought I recognized that look. Piper must have spotted a journalist!
And I agree about the MSM. They keep shooting themselves in the foot over Sarah.
Soon (they probably already have) they will realize that such an approach is fruitless (though some will always try that route) and they will begin focusing hard on trying to compromise members of her family with every temptation imaginable so they can blackmail them
The Palin family needss ourt prayers constantly.
Dear God in Heaven protect them and hold them in the hollow of Thy Hand. Let them stand against the hellish winds of the adversary, strong, solid, as a light on a hill. In Jesus Name, Amen.
FOTFLOL! OUTSTANDING!
“SARAH PALIN - BEST FRIEND, WORST ADVERSARY”
I like it!
If I don’t have a fighter in my friend against common adversaries, I don’t have a friend after all.
Nice job, Jeff.
And the president of Pakistan has the hots for her!!
Can’t hurt!
He said [ You are even more beautiful in person...no wonder America loves you]..She had the grace to be a bit embarrassed, but poised.
Lol....everyone but the media. No matter what happens in this thing, no one in my lifetime has given the MSM the vapors like she has!! Ya GOTTA love that!
What a bunch of arrogant, bigoted jerks. Sure explains why we ‘hicks’ had to fight tooth and toenail to get any exposure for KF, etc, doesn’t it?
The more I read critiques of Palin, the more I see the left as culturalists (in the vein of racists.) Far from being claimed tolerant “multiculturalists,” they are flat out prejudiced against traditional American cultural beliefs and practices. They ridicule, demonize and disrespect my culture in a manner that they would decry if I were a Native American or ethnic minority. I think that someone whould call them on their bigotry.
“Unbelievable contrast that...but to be sure, you should have either a pic of Cindy there with Michelle, or Biden there with Sarah for the comparison...either of which would be equally compelling.”
I’d rather see Sarah for the next 4/8 years in power than just about anyone I can think of. I do like Cindy McCain the more I see of her. The McCains were great on Rachael Ray this week. John knows how to pick gorgeous women. Not a bad trait. Look what Clinton picked out....oh, my...
