"We're dry. We've got no gas here," Hussain, the station's manager, said Monday morning.
He said he has "no idea" when the next shipment will come, even though he's been in constant contact with the local terminal.
"It could be days," he said. "Obviously, we're disappointed. We're being patient. That's all we can do."

Thanks O’Reilly.. Keep bloviating about price gouging. Let the shortages keep piling up.
DRILL! DRILL! DRILL!
Tuesday I used my neighbor’s extra car to drive into work in Atlanta from my suburban neighborhood because I could not find gas to fill up my own.
And yesterday my daughter used his car because she could not find gas to fill up her tank.
I know somebody in Atlanta too, the crisis is very real, they are cancelling meetings and such for fear of running out of gas ...
I live in Lilburn and I have not had any problems finding gas, just long lines.
While I generally like O'Reilly, he complains too much about people getting screwed. Indirectly, he seems to be for big government that provided more oversight and regulation. Sometimes I wonder if he doesn't need to have left side of his brain shrunk.
I’d say it’s spotty. We live in Gwinnett county — NE Atlanta suburbs, and while some stations are out, several have gas, and there are NO LINES.
I was in Cobb county (NW Atlanta suburb) today though, and the one station I saw open had a 30 - 50 car line down the street.
My oldest son is in B school in downtown Atlanta, and he has had to go to different stations than his usual one (next to his apt.) but he has had no issues.
Net: where we live, the outages have been spotty but constant. We have been inconvenienced. That is all.
I finally found premium after two attempts yesterday and down to only one work day’s worth of travel (only 13 miles one way). Premium is scarcer than’s hen’s teeth.
From Alpharetta to Norcross I see maybe one station open on any given day. And the line is out the wazoo. Of course, when I did find gas, some soccer mom next to me proceeded to fill her car and then pull four 5 gallon cans out of the trunk.
I can make until maybe next Thursday with no driving this weekend. After that, who knows.
I’m finding the further you drive away from the main interstates you can find gas. I’m right off GA 400 interstate.

Why is it that so many middle easterners now run the gas stations/ convenience stores?
I noticed it before I left Memphis in 2004, and it had spread to to even rural stations.
And the lines at the gas stations are crazy...with cars facing each other, blocking each other in. And drivers arguing over who got in line for the pump first.
Unfortunately, the transit and bus systems into Buckhead where I work from Roswell are not adequate, so taking public transportation is not an option for me.
The crisis is not a real bona fide fuel crisis here. I live and work IN “Atlanta”. The fear and the hyping is quite real however. The gas comes and goes, and you have to look around, and plan ahead.
Yes folks have shifted meetings and said “let’s not do that meeting” but it’s just being prudent.
I was driving in FIVE different Atlanta metro counties (Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Hall) today for three client meetings and observed lines only in one county — COBB county. I saw outages in all five, and availability in all five. THAT is a first had report.
HEY, CRACKERS! You got plenty of air. INFLATE YOUR TIRES!!
Government price control (whether direct or by instilling fear of criminal prosecution for “gouging”) always results in shortage. But everyone acts surprised whenever it happens.
Article is from Monday. Still problems, I take it?
I’m in Alpharetta GA and I found three stations with gas. The lines at all of them were so long in the afternoon I came back at 5:00am and filled my car up. Then I came home to get my husband’s car and went and filled it up too. No lines at 5:00am.
My son’s car prefers premium, and while finding it has caused him to vary his routine (he’s an inside-the-perimeter kinda guy) he has not ever been unable to find gas. He has indeed observed outages and lines. But he has always gotten gas. He lives in Cobb (barely) and commutes to Fulton/downtown.
