You have blessed us with a President who acknowledges that Jesus Christ is Lord these last eight years, and for that we are thankful. We have trusted that his heart is in your hand and You are turning it wherever You wish. We ask that You would continue to give him time to spend at Your feet worshipping You and hearing Your still, small voice. Pour out of Your Spirit in him the wisdom he needs to lead and guide us. Train his hands for the challenges he faces and will face in the years to come. We ask You for a blessing for his family—protection, health, provision and peace.
We pray also for Senator McCain and Governor Palin. As they take the time to seek You, we trust that You will order their steps and their mouths. Angels, we give you charge concerning them and their families to guard them in all their ways. Let Your glory shine through them and show them Your favor. Teach them to walk in the light as You are in the light.
We pray for the men and women in our military service, CIA and FBI. Provide everything that they need for success including equipment, information, skilled workers and wise leaders. Be their shield and buckler and deliver them from the hand of the fowler and deadly pestilence. Keep their families in Your perfect peace as they keep their mind on You.
We thank You for answering our prayers and breathing life into the people of this nation. Empower and encourage Your children to do the work of the ministry. Open up doors of utterance and divine appointments and fill their mouths with words that even their enemies are unable to refute. Stir the hearts of those yet to receive Your love to hunger and thirst after what only You can provide.
We pray in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank You for the blessings You have given this nation. Thank You for watching over this nation, even people who deny You or worse. The rain fell on the just and the wicked.
We lift up President Bush, Thank You for giving us President Bush for these last 8 years. You gave us a man who honors You in word and deed. He kept that word close to him as he walked with the American people through trials and tribulations. I believe he was chosen by You because You knew what these days would bring. You knew that his heart was humble enough to acknowledge his great need for you, and that is what got him through the last 8 years; relying completely on You. Protect, bless and prosper him and his loved ones as he leaves office.
We ask you to guide, protect and fill Senator McCain and Gov Palin with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the wisdom, the knowledge and the strength to win this election. I pray they would look to You when the enemy tries to harm them. Give them Your words; true, wise, clear and compassionate. I pray for the American people. Lord, open the eyes and hearts of all people to Your truth. Let all see the great sacrifice You made for all of us. May we see people turn to You, so You can change their hearts.
Father, watch over our troops and there families. Bless them and prosper them for the great sacrifices they are making. I pray complete victory comes soon, so they can return home. May this nation honor them for all they have done.
Lord, I ask that You force them media to tell the whole truth. I pray they would quit lying or twisting the truth for their own reasons. I pray the truth would get out to all people, so they can make informed decisions on election day. I thank You for those who are speaking the truth.

Thank you Lord for this day and all the blessings of this day. Thank you for President George W. Bush, Senator John S. McCain, and Gov. Sarah Palin, and I pray for their protection from all evil, and that you will be with them in all they do. I pray for their families, and for blessings to be showered upon them and for their safety. Blessings upon President Bush, Senator McCain, and Gov Palin. Pray for Blessings and protection for our Troops.

We’ve all heard the prayer: “Lord, make me more patient—and do it now!”
Why is it that patience evaporates when we are late for a critical engagement and are caught in a traffic jam? Or we rush to the “10 items or less” line at the store, only to find someone in front of us with 16 items!
Being forced to wait ratchets up the stress and shortens our fuse. When that happens, we not only fail to be patient but we undercut the Spirit’s work in our lives.
Patience is not just a virtue, it’s a fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22)—which means that demonstrations of impatience reveal the sour fruit of our fallen hearts rather than the sweetness of Jesus in our lives. Since God is a patient God, when we abandon patience we miss the opportunity to show our world the glory of God through our lives.
Bursts of impatience only demonstrate that we are more concerned with our own agendas than the needs and struggles of others. So let’s all take a deep breath and turn our focus away from ourselves by patiently loving others instead of ourselves in the midst of stress.
Patience gives us the privilege of sharing the refreshing fruit of God with others.
Amen.
Lord, I stand with these in humble prayer before You. Thank You for Your protection of us in these dire times. We pray Your Spirit upon President Bush, give him wisdom in the decisions he makes, especially in regard to the financial crisis as well as the war on terror. Protect him, keep a hedge of protection all around for we realize the attacks against him are not of flesh and blood but from principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places. We pray also for your protection of Senator McCain and Governor Palin. Give them knowledge, wisdom, understanding and clear thinking. Be there with them in the debates, and protect our nation against those who stand against the things of Your kingdom. In the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
