From a man who’s no stranger to abject disgrace comes one of the purest examples of racial demagoguery we’ve seen from either side during this very long campaign, duly laughed at and applauded by the same group that worked so hard last week to get Palin disinvited from the anti-Iran rally. His party will love him for it, I assure you.
“If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Rep. Alcee Hastings of Florida said at a panel about the shared agenda of Jewish and African-American Democrats Wednesday. Hastings, who is African-American, was explaining what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the presidential race. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through,” Hastings added as the room erupted in laughter and applause. Rep. Alcee Hastings told an audience of Jewish Democrats Wednesday that they should be wary of Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.”

Hastings has just insulted millions of Dem hunters who like nothing more than hunting deer and other critters. Do these Dem idiots know how many guns their own constituents have? I doubt it. The fact is the average blue-collar (and many white-collar) Dems own guns numbered in the millions. The NRA should get this out.

I find it really amazing that people who celebrate "the noble savage" (and who defend hunting and carnivory among other animal species) simultaneously demand that white people, and only white people, live as though they were not every bit as much a part of the "food chain" as all other species.
But then again, it's the celebrants of the "noble savage" and his "indigenous beliefs" who tell us that only white people must clear their heads of anything other than science.
It should be noted that the Germans in the Nazi era can be viewed as gun grabbers and animal huggers, which hardly made them anything less than about the most horrendous regime in history in terms of their brutality toward fellow humans.
How dumb can these Jewish 'Rats be to laugh at a "joke" like that about Palin?
The correct message is gradually sinking in. McCain will wind up with a larger percentage of the Jewish vote this year than any GOP presidential candidate since the very early twentieth century. Look for him to get at least 40% and possibly hit 50%. There is a palpable distrust of Obama-Biden spreading around the Jewish community!
The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) was the sponsor of this event. There is no end to how low that organization will sink to make what they consider to be political hay. Even inviting Hastings - a man who was impeached and removed from his federal judgeship for soliciting a bribe from a party in a case before him - shows that the NJDC has no respect for integrity in the legal system.
