URBANA, Ohio With women jumping on the Sarah Palin bandwagon, Carole King is doing her best to get them on the Obama Loco-Motion instead.
The legendary songwriter, who wrote the pop classic for Little Eva back in the early '60s, made a stop at Urbana University on Wednesday, Sept. 24, to have a heart-to-heart with other natural women.
In what was billed as a women's roundtable, King confessed she started as a Hillary Clinton supporter.
"I keep hearing in the media about this faction of Hillary supporters who are going to vote for McCain," she said. "In what universe?"
King, who wrote golden oldies for the likes of the Chiffons and the Monkees before becoming a superstar in her own right, now is solidly behind Sen. Barack Obama.

Carole KinG!!!!???
Has Her Royalty checks fallen off that much?
She needs to sell a few albums to buy more cat food.
Sorry Carole but “Sweet Seasons” and Sarah Palin are on my mind.
But it’s too late, Carole, now it’s too late
Loco is right.
“It’s too late baby now......it’s too late.............”
Forget it, the whole street between Aves.X and Y she came from in Brooklyn are died in the wool Democrats. I don’t think she or they changed in 67 years.
Something about liberalism makes women age very rapidly.
What a hag. Hags.
Originally Klein, not King
Is that pic of Helen untouched? Just curious. Vaudine
Hey Carole, maybe your pro-abortion stance has something to do with your royalties taking a well-deserved plunge!
Carole King was a terrific songwriter. I first saw her perform (with James Taylor) in 1971. It was a terrific concert.
I am sorry her picture was posted. She really has gone to seed and developed that stereotypical NAG look. Very sad!
As much as I’ve liked her through the years, I have one question: Why would anyone care what she (or any other celebrity) thinks about politics?
I have always wondered if Leftists think that all CEO’s are Republicans. How do they reconcile Democrat CEO’s with their own politics? Jim Johnson, Franklin Raines, etc. Republicans need to get the word out NOW that the mortgage mess is predominantly the fault of Democrats.
Her in the decrepit flesh.
