WSJ/NBC Poll: Job Growth Trumps Financial Crisis (Obama 46%, McCain 45%)
WSJ ^

Voters overwhelmingly agree the economy should be the next administration’s top priority, with growth and job creation trumping the financial crisis as the No. 1 issue.

Poll Presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain are tied, 46% to 45%, respectively, in the latest national Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. And voters are, above all, pessimistic about the state of the economy. More than 3 in 4 voters believe the economy is in a recession and of those, three-fourths say the worst of it is yet to come.

Forty-one percent of voters said job creation and economic growth should be the first or second priority for the next administration, while 32% said the financial crisis should be the first or second.

I think it is official that the ABC Poll is an outlier. But that won’t stop the media narrative that McCain’s latest move is motivated by “desperation”.

And what do people think will happen to job creation when the banks fold?

Stupid questions yield stupid answers.

Then maybe the populous is ready for cap gain elimination and business tax slashing. Country want’s business? Get pro-business.

But Seabiscuit had a happy ending...the banks failed there and the horse won...

That is about as deep as some think.

I will be posting what I said from an earlier post every time I see polls posted .....

"Just came for Drudge and he has a picture of the smug black messiah making a fist like the black panthers! I still don’t believe this, NO WAY NO HOW....I’m getting a little nervous but GOD will help us win this battle. The Tsunami of evil spewed by the RATS and their accomplices is beyond anything I have EVER witnessed. I serve a God who deals with the impossible, I serve a MIGHTY God who deals severely with evil doers. I serve a God who listens to the cries of his people. I serve a KING who has the power to turn the hearts of people to do the right thing. I serve a MASTER who turns situations around... what satan meant for evil HE will turn it around for good. I have to believe I serve a MIGHTY GOD! Fix your eyes on Him don’t look at the situation, but put your faith in him. IF ever we needed Him most it’s now. Call upon him and he will answer. I’m NOT willing to surrender my COUNTRY over to Satan’s cronies yet! The SPIRITUAL fight has just began. Please, I implore you, FAST AND PRAY. This is the only way we can defeat the demons and their plans. PLEASE, PLEASE..God Doesn't need an army of millions but a handful of faithful believers who are willing to take a stand in the middle of the Storm by faith believing without wavering that God can do all things! Even this to turn an election to favor McPAL! Join me with prayer and fasting."

Good News. It does show ABC and Fox to be moronic outliers.

Off course Chet, Chuck Todd at NBC needed to prop Obama up a point.

I’m less concerned with what McCain does now than I am with what Congress does. McCain will be the beneficiary of good policy, or the goat of bad. If he’s in WA when the wrong stuff goes down, he’ll get much of the blame. If he’s there when the right policies go down, he will get some of the credit.

Polls are not a true indicator of voters minds - have conversations, talk sense with people and pursuade those who don’t have closed mind disease!

Democrats always promise jobs, jobs, jobs. How in the world do they get away with that? They have no idea how to produce anything.

I wonder what percentage of voters can accurately define a recession (two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth - we’ve had zero).

My guess is 5% or fewer.

OK, just to put all these polls in their perspective. At the same time that we have a lot of bad polls for McCain/Palin and RealClearPolitics shows Obama/Biden leading by on average by 3.5% McCain is leading over Obama in favourability ratings (also on the first page of RealClearPolitics) by 17.1 vs 17.0, and Michigan has gone from leaning Obama to “toss up” state.

Go figure!

Because our idiots with their public school educations think the Feds have a magic bag full of jobs that they can just pull em out of, only Evil Bush has been too mean and nasty to open up the magic goody bag. I really think we are close to the end of the Republic....

The financial crisis affects ALL businesses, from the largest to the smallest. When all businesses are affected, more jobs are in jeopardy. When you can’t finance your inventory, you certainly can’t hire someone to sell it.

OMG! Obama is only leading 1 point in the NBC/WSJ poll? With all the financial choas that’s happening and only 1 point?

Makes me feel better after seeing that stupid FNC poll!
