Also, if Intrade was so terrific, then why did they not reject the bogus exit polling and Bob Shrum on election day 2004 and keep Bush the favorite.
If Intrade traders are so fabulous at political predictions, why did they get duped by the Kerry campaign?

He is putting America First which seems lost on some of you around here. He is a United States Senator from Arizona and belongs in the US Senate on this issue. I know I would prefer having John McCain then anyone I can think of except Coburn and Inhofe from OK.

How is McCain backing out of the debate Friday going to fix the economy? The only thing it helps is Obama.

yeah, they self-identify pretty easily, as you see the same names over and over, and they are always so CONCERNED.

Why should she stop campaigning? The nominee has suspended his campaign. Is she not on the ticket with him? Her continuing to campaign would make McCain’s actions look like a ruse. Palin cannot continue campaigning with McCain on the sidelines. It would send a terribly cynical message.
To: Purrcival
if he would only vote present, anyway?
No need to show up then

Belleview BiltmoreI stayed there when I was a kid. The tennis pro reamed my brother and me out for destroying the clay tennis courts with our basketball shoes. What did we know?

"America has not faced a financial crisis of this magnitude since 1929. If the goverment does not act quickly it is possible that sector after sector of the US economy will fail. To have an economic crisis in the middle of the WOT can signal the beginning of the end for Americas influence in the world. McCain is seizing the moment and putting Americas financial future before his campaign. He is the man that was willing to lose the election because he supported the surge. He is the candidate that is in touch with the concerns of the average American. He works for us. And his return to Washington shows that he puts us before winning the election. This is a brilliant move not only for him as a US Senator, but as a patriot." I agree, well said. Thank you you really put it together perfectly.

It buys Palin a day or so to cram for her debate with Biden.

Barry Hussein is comparing the biggest financial crisis this nation has ever faced with a stinking debate..
"let me see...save the country or have a debate...save the country or have a debate????? he's as vacuous as a balloon and as dumb as a rock.....
you people who would vote for this puppet are INSANE and I personally will hold each and every one of you responsible for what is coming.....
To: af_vet_rr
Well, Barack, John McCain will be in the midst of the Congressional gnarl seeking to find a solution tot he impasse and get something done ... we can only hope he gets something not so insane as Bush’s men are pushing.

I just worry that most Americans are going to see this as panicing under pressure.
How could you tell Joe Montana was playing in a game where his team was down in an playoff game? You couldn't. He looked just like he was playing a touch football game in his back yard. He didn't change things, or try reformat the huddle for emergency. He was calm and cool.

Forgot to ask - is the Senate going to be working Friday night?
