Why should she stop campaigning? The nominee has suspended his campaign. Is she not on the ticket with him? Her continuing to campaign would make McCain’s actions look like a ruse. Palin cannot continue campaigning with McCain on the sidelines. It would send a terribly cynical message.
BS. McCain has a real role in the crisis as a US senator. So does Biden and Obama. Palin can continue to campaign because she is not involved in the decision making process and has no responsibilties in that regard. She is not being paid to discharge those responsibilities.
No it wouldn’t. He suspended his campaign in order to go do the job he’s paid to do. Palin isn’t a US Senator, she can’t go vote in the Senate, so she has every right to continue to campaign.
