Those states need jobs...now. Telling them Clean coal technology isn't a possiblity won't help the O'bomber ticket win.

Coal is key.

Democrats oppose coal because we have plenty of it. Everything they do tends to increase our dependence on the sheiks. They do not want to drill, because it would decrease our dependence on the sheiks. They don’t want to develop oil shale, because we have enough oil shale to be independent. They don’t want to use coal for liquid transportation fuels because that would lead us to energy independence.

Talk about energy independence, and they’ll try to change the subject to wind energy, because Pelosi is invested in it. And it can be guaranteed that it won’t threaten the sheiks’ monopoly, so its a win-win for them.

Like I said before there were two issues that lost Ohio for Gore in 2000, guns and coal production. With this one gaffe Biden has probably sealed the deal on Ohio for Obama. We don’t like it when we ae lied to and one of them is lying and I’d guess that by his voting record that it isn’t Biden.
