A civil war broke out on the Democratic ticket, as Obama slapped down a comment by Joe Biden just a day after Biden ripped a sarcastic Obama ad about John McCain. After slamming McCain for flip-flopping on bailing out AIG, Obama was asked by "Today" show Matt Lauer about Biden's view. "And I think that, in that situation - I think Joe should have waited, as well," Obama said. Biden Monday slammed his own campaign for running a commercial about McCain's inability to use a computer.

Add two more gaffes to Biden's list of campaign-trail flubs. "When the stock market crashed," Biden told CBS, "Franklin Roosevelt got on TV and didn't just talk about the princes of greed." Unfortunately, it was President Herbert Hoover in charge during the 1929 crash, not Roosevelt. And there were no TVs. LOL. Reminds me of a friend, who was explaining "the Olden Days" to his Granddaughter. After he had explained that the TV was in black and white, and that there were ony three channels, he told her that often there was nothing interesting for him, as a child to watch.

She looked up at him and sweetly asked: "Why didn't you just put in a DVD?"
