I noticed Dodd looked a bit disheveled today, just not quite himself. Probably had a heads-up that the Feds were knocking.

Oh please, for once can the people who brought us to this point have their lives made more miserable than all of the decent, honest people they have harmed.
We have lost so much faith as we see miscreant after miscreant escape, Frank Raines, Sandy Burglar, Jamie Gorelick, the list is endless. They keep pointing the finger at the President, who has done nothing, to deflect from their wrongdoing. Our Marines are prosecuted for doint their duty while the well-connected just skate.
I pray this is a serious investigation.

Kinda like the old check kiting scheme back in 1994.
Only a billion times worse. Today's worthless paper for Tomorrow's worthless paper.

This bailout is more and more looking like a fraud... I think any GOP politician who votes for bailout wont survive re-election if running opposedMcCain is for a bailout.

Trust me, the report findings will not be issued until Nov 5th or there after.I suspect that you're right. On the other hand, the connection can be made between a few democrat's excessive campaign contributions from certain entities that are now under investigation. Like Obama's $100,000++. This can provide some leverage.

I hope it gets expanded to include some of the other banks. Many of them were in on this. Go after them all.

lol. I'll be watching to see what Mizz Pelosi has to say about all this tomorrow. Maybe she could get her daughter before the cameras just one last time, in her stead.

> McCain is for a bailout.
Is he? I heard he flipflopped (again). I don’t trust him as far as I can throw him. I never know from day to day what he thinks about anything.
That he’s better than the Dims is thin comfort indeed. That’s a mighty low bar.

26 executives under investigation, apparently.
From the unpostable site:
“Officials say the new inquiries brings the number of corporate lenders under investigation over the last year to 26.”
