When Obambi shows up in Green Bay wearing a cheesehead hat, you'll know he's really desperate. It might be better than a Dukakis moment.

Isn’t Green Bay kind of conservative?

What— didn’t they have enough “freebies” on hand?

I remember when GW and Cheney both came to NW Arkansas just before 2000 election ... they had a rally at the largest hangar they had..(14,000 or so)

I couldn’t get within 6 miles of the place ... not for security... traffic trying to get there too.

Ironically, the most poignant quote from Barry’s speech in Green Bay came during the opening seconds. Here are his exact words:

“Hello Green Bay, it’s great to see all you yogurt heads...how ‘bout them Green Bay Slackers!. Ever since I saw that actor in “Something About Mary,” I’ve wanted to come to his hometown.

Funny, I’ve never saw him in another movie since then, what ever happened to that guy?

Anyway, I’ve met some great people here, and hopefully, your town will get to experience the honor of winning a world championship someday.

Of course, the Slackers will have to be promoted from the Arena Football League to experience the ultimate thrill, but, with the community spirit I’ve seen, it could happen. In fact, it will the number one priority in an Obama, Biden administration.”

Editor’s note: ahs, ums, you knows, ehs, duhs and ers were edited out to spare the reader from 23-minutes of useless drivel.

People at those rallies don’t represent Obama’s key constituent groups - the dead, the non-existent, the incarcerated and foreign nationals.

Well... if that's the kind of reception they get in Madison, they're going to have trouble holding onto the state in November. The enthusiasm doesn't seem to be there for the One.

It may be easier to flip Wisconsin than Pennsylvania. If the polls stay close there, McCain camp may want to spend some time there.

I think Rasmussen has Obama at only a 2 point lead.

Fer shur. Waxing reminiscent, I hear Roxy Music and "The Thrill Is Gone".

Seriously though, this is really telling, especially with the final push coming up. Meanwhile, Sarahcuda has the base jazzed. IMHO, we are in for an interesting ride contrary to CW. Cf. Gallup in particular.....

It is Bush’s fault — the Cowboys won going away last night against the Packers and put Green Bay in a funk! :)

Figured I would give everyone the Dem spin on lack of people showing up!
