Speaking to an Irish-American audience this morning, John McCain used his strongest language of the general election campaign to grab again the mantle of comprehensive immigration reform.
In Scranton, Pa., he vowed to push through a plan that offers a path to citizenship to illegal immigrants who pay fines and fulfill other requirements. "This nation is stronger for the infusion of fresh blood and vitality," McCain said.

So typical. Go to an audience of citizens and promise a path to citizenship.

McCain highlighted his cooperation with Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts and other Democrats on the issue. The RINO is still alive and kicking.

McCain got the Base back with Sarah Palin. Did he then have an oh-no-what-have-I-done!! moment? Is he horrified that the conservatives decided to vote for him? Is he trying to shuck us off again? Maybe he should dump Palin now to be true to himself.

McCain never learns...and this must be embarassing for his supporters.
I cannot vote for this man, who values illegal aliens over Americans.

Great. We can choose between an explosive case of diarrhea with Obama or just a little case of the runs with McCain. Too bad we didn't have any conservatives running for the GOP nomination this time.

There must be some kind of mistake

None of the nonsense and fabrications of the rabid left hurts as much as McCain's own words.
But when I get disgusted, I think of the issue of abortion and what the Supreme Court will look like in ten years.
To: rabscuttle385
I am as opposed to this as most of us on FR are. I would just like to point out that both McCain and 0 are going to try to shove amnesty down our throats. I will continue to vote for Palin (and McCain) and then fight that battle after the election. Better than losing the war.

McCain thinks he needs the hispanic vote...or more of the hispanic vote. He was purposefully misquoted in a deceitful Obama campaign ad and is trying to rectify the issue. He knows conservatives do not want to see a windfall citizenship granted to someone who entered our counry illegally, but he also thinks he’s got a chance in both California and New Mexico and that this sort of rhetoric will enhance that chance.
Sarah Palin would clearly object to this and will be a constant pain to John, should he pursue such an action once in the Whitehouse.

You do understand that the personal views of a Vice President are of no consequence and that the VP must follow and and act on all the views of the President?

But when I get disgusted, I think of the issue of abortion and what the Supreme Court will look like in ten years. If he won't even appoint conservatives to his Cabinet, what makes you think he will nominate conservatives to the SCOTUS?

BUT
If McCain tries to push this amnesty b.s. then I promise I will sit out this election and the GOP can forever kiss my ass.
Go Palin, kick some sense in to the old mans head.
