Senator McCain “He said that voters would not support such a plan until the borders were made secure.”
McCain is right.

'Secure the border' is empty rhetoric. It simply means that the border state governors have to signify that their borders are secure. By what standard? The governor's say so.
Which border governor would say their border is NOT secure? None of them. The current governors of TX, NM, AZ, and CA want amnesty as much as McCain does.
It is another version of the same pea and shell game.

Until? UNTIL? No....how about NOT AT ALL!!!!
That’s such b.s. and he damn well knows it. He’s playing games and it ticks me off royally. S2611 was defeated BECAUSE of border security AND the amnesty issue. Even if, as he claims, he does plan to effectively secure our borders (he will not), voters will NOT support any kind of amnesty, earned or otherwise, for illegal aliens.
