McCain thinks he needs the hispanic vote...or more of the hispanic vote. He was purposefully misquoted in a deceitful Obama campaign ad and is trying to rectify the issue. He knows conservatives do not want to see a windfall citizenship granted to someone who entered our counry illegally, but he also thinks he’s got a chance in both California and New Mexico and that this sort of rhetoric will enhance that chance.
Sarah Palin would clearly object to this and will be a constant pain to John, should he pursue such an action once in the Whitehouse.
And to beat all he received a round of applause to his speech exhorting the value of his Amnesty program from the crowd.
“So typical. Go to an audience of citizens and promise a path to citizenship. “
The last I heard there were over 30,000 illegal Irishmen in this country and they were demanding their ‘rights’. Usually it’s Ted Kennedy speaking on their behalf. Maybe McCain did this as a favor to his ‘friend’.
He’s on a panderfest for sure. Maybe that’s what it takes. I’ll never learn to like it.
Those Irish-Americans have a lot of relatives in this country who fit the term illegal alien to a T. A lot of relatives!
