Senator Hillary Clinton announced today a new grassroots effort to get her supporters to fall in behind one-time rival Barack Obama.
"As we continue to read the headlines about our troubled economy, the stakes of this election only get higher. Today I am asking all of you to hit the phones, hit the road, and spread the word that we must elect Barack Obama President and we must send a filibuster-proof majority to Congress," Clinton said in a statement.

President Obama with a Democrat controlled filibuster-proof Senate and Democrat Controlled House -- also resulting in a leftist activist Supreme Court.
If that doesn't send conservatives to the polls to vote for McCain/Palin, I don't know what will.

Will someone ask this woman, or any dem for that matter, how taxing people into debt will revive the economy?

Hillary announces X effort for Obama... she'll help out her party's candidates who would owe her if they win but Obama? I can't see it. Hillary doesn't strike me as the type of person to play second fiddle to someone else for another eight years.

"...new grassroots effort..." What happened to the last three "new" efforts? It doesn't sound to me as though Hillary is really trying too hard to sell this chit, and it also doesn't sound to me as though Hillary supporters are buying.

Right. And she's banking on Obama to cover up what her husband and the Democrats in Congress did to force financial institutions, under the penalty of law, to issue loans to people without assets or income.

Senator Hillary Clinton announced today a new grassroots effort to get her supporters to fall in line:
Brown Shirt "community organizer" thug patrols: "Ve haf ways of making you bent to our vill... you ville support Obamanation or else.
Don't you just love the threats and desperation coming from the Democrat party that has a black racist, anti American, anti Semite Chicago thug at the top of their presidential ticket. Shillery must really need her loans paid off. Either that or Obamanation inc has compromising photos of Hildabeast and Humma or some other kind of black mail or promise Obamaination is holding over her head or dangling in front of her.

This is the new grass roots effort:
"As we continue to read the headlines about our troubled economy, the stakes of this election only get higher. Today I am asking all of you to hit the phones, hit the road, and spread the word that we must elect Barack Obama President and we must send a filibuster-proof majority to Congress,"
Some effort...she didn't even work up enough sweat to get her pants suit damp.

You know, one has to admire this woman’s political skill. Really. She knows that nothing will energize the Republicans more, that her calling for a “fillabuster proof” congress! She is actually calling everyone out to battle against the Democrats! She does’nt want them to win!
She is a genius, really. A criminal genius.

I agree with you — she knows exactly what she is doing.
It would be even funnier if the Senate were tied for her to tell the Dems after all these years she is going back to her roots as a Republican since Senator McCain is President. Talk about the wheels coming off the bus!

I’m with first poster. I can’t fathom her intent, but the effect of her comment about a “veto proof majority” will work against 0bama/Biden.

If that doesn't send conservatives to the polls to vote for McCain/Palin, I don't know what will.
How about if McCain became a conservative? Why does he support socializing failed banks? Shouldn't we be letting capitalism
work? What about all the banks that
didn't screw up?
They are the ones that should be rewarded — rewarded with opportunity. Instead, we prop up the losers with our tax money. Great progress comrades!
On Monday morning, McCain said "the fundamentals of our economy our strong." If he meant
capitalism he would have been right. But later he said he meant, "the {glorious proletarian] American worker [party]," and just
3 hours later was singing Obama's same tune. Is he taking flip-flop lessons from John Kerry? In that case, the student has become the master.
You know, I've seen people here make fun of the "Nut Roots" candidates supported by DailyKos. A lot of them have lost, but when they win, it's a win for the Kommies. If we support candidates who are real conservatives, maybe they won't win in these RINO-dominated times, but wouldn't it be nice to be
happy when our candidates win instead of just being happy that
their candidates lose? Maybe if conservatives voted
for conservatives instead of
against liberals, we'd have more real conservatives in the race.
I'm voting for Barr. Period.
Do I want Obama to win? No. I want a conservative to win and that's not going to happen unless someone votes for a conservative. I don't know who is going to win this November, but I can tell you with certainty who is going to lose: conservative America.
And maybe we deserve it for caving on everything we believe in. Maybe we deserve to have our socialized banking system and our continued failure to control illegal immigration. Maybe need to borrow $12 billion a month from China so we can turn Iraq into a socialist utopia where everything they want or need is provided by the US taxpayer (why should they bother to spend any of their billions in oil revenue?).
Socialism, pandering, and nation building. Convince me that
those are great things and I'll vote for McCain.

The Dems believe that under Clinton... our taxes went up and the economy grew large. Thus, they believe uping the taxes.. the economy will grow.
All here on Freep know that it was Reagan economic plan that grew the economy... not Clinton... but tell that to the MSM/Demo.

What this VERY jealous person is doing and really feeling are really 2 very different things....
She would like to blast Obama to hell and back but with a glued smile on her face she will force the words: Vote for Obama out of her mouth.....
I have to really wonder just what is playing behind the set of this phony play.....a high cabinet position for her or for Billy Boy or both?????
