If you lose your house...your not living there anymore. Michigan has a six month redemption period so, actually, you do still live there anymore.

I saw this old goat attempting to read this statement to Muller this morning. It was all he could do just to read it. All I could think of was what a crook.

That said, Conyers is still a commie a-hole.

Voter fraud by Democrats in Michigan in general and Detroit in particular has been at epidemic proportions for a long time. Many of the houses in Detroit are abandoned and are used as crack houses. The population of Detroit has declined dramatically over the last several years. Yet the votes (about 95% Democrat) are so high as to be obviously fraudulent. Elections in Detroit are like elections in the former Soviet Union. Both are corrupt one-party states where the controlling party gets almost 100% of the vote.

No one would be denied the right to vote, the plan is to merely ask is this where you live? What is wrong with asking folks if their info is accurate?

any electoral vote challenge in a split situation would go back to the Governor If you're talking about the MI House and Senate designating the recipient of electoral votes for MI, only they can do it. Under Article II of the US Constitution the Governor has no authority over Presidential electors whatsoever.

I thought I read somewhere that the subject was simply a rumor and that the rumor was started by someone in the Hussein campaign.

If there is a dispute of the Electoral College that is Split between the US House and the US Senate, the decision would revert to the Governor of the State (Bush V Gore).

I don't know where Conyers hangs around but I don't see any bread lines in my neck of the woods. This economy isn't even as bad as the Carter years. Conyers must be as dumb as he looks.

FYI: The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, John Conyers Jr of Michigan, is an endorser of the Revolutionary Communist Party call to "Drive Out the Bush Regime".
Click on the WCW link just below and see: "Endorsers of the Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime Include". Conyers' endorsement appears right after Ward Churchill's. Al Sharpton's, Maxine Waters and Jesse Jackson Jr's endorsements are also on the list:

And on Oct 5, 2006, the demonRat chair of the House Judiciary Committee, John Conyers Jr, gave a speech to the World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime organization. Here's full-page coverage of it from the WCW website:

Fact: World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime is a Maoist-revolutionary movement organized by the Revolutionary Communist Party! (scroll down the list that appears (after clicking link) to find the World Can't Wait organization --rwor.org is the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party):

No, no. It's a legitimate issue, and it could happen. But if the Governor were involved (and that might have been the prescribed procedure in Florida prior to the Florida SC getting involved) that would have to be laid out by the MI legislature as their means for selecting electors under some circumstance prior to the EC vote.
Once the EC vote's held, if there's no majority, the US House votes on the President, with one vote for each state. I actually believe Republicans would not need to retake the House in order to win that vote -- they would just need to control a majority of State delegations in the House (which, I believe because of small States, they would.) The US Senate would pick the VP, and that would definitely be Biden.
